About the Department:
Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM) has been established in 1998 by Prof. T. J. Sawant in the memory of his father late Jayawantrao Sawant. Prof. T. J. Sawant, the founder secretary of JSPM did his graduation in Electrical Engineering and has been actively involved in the field of engineering education in Pune since last 14 years. He is genuinely interested and driven by the mission of providing an excellent quality education in various disciplines starting from KG to PG in India.
Department of Computer Engineering has been established in the year 2001, with an intake of 60 students and grown up to 120. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members having more than average 10 years of teaching experience. The department has started a PG course with intake 24 students. The department has well established laboratories with sophisticated equipments and instruments.
Objective of the FDP: About RSCOE: Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (RSCOE) has been established in 2001 with the aim of providing quality technical education and excellence in the ever expanding horizon of technical revolution of 21st century. The institute is becoming an icon in the field of engineering education in the state of Maharashtra. The Institute has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. The institute is accreted by N.B.A. Committee, New Delhi and got Best college award in the professional college categories. The institute has many eminent personalities from the field of education and industry on its advisory committee, whose rich experience and guidance benefit the society. The institute stands committed to technical, moral and intellectual growth of the students and provides the best possible job placement through the training and placement cell. The college aims to transform the raw intelligent input into committed engineering graduates and to explore the hidden capabilities of the students towards the best leadership and technological management strength which makes them future successful entrepreneurs. The institute has NVIDIA CUDA teaching center (CTC) since 2012. Under this CTC many UG and PG students are doing their project work, for which they had got wide acceptance from IT industry.
