1. This Invitation for Prequalification follows the Advance Contracting Notice for this project that appeared in ADB website on 8 January 2016. The eligibility rules and procedures of ADB will govern the prequalification and the bidding process. 2. India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of Rajasthan State Highway Investment Program (Tranche 1). 3. The Public Works Department of the Government of Rajasthan (the “Employer”) intends to prequalify firms for the following contract(s) under this project: RSHIP Package 02: Development and Maintenance of Barmer-Sindari-Jalore SH-16 and Ahore-Bali-Mundara (Sanderao to Mundara) SH-16 (Total length: 178.00 Km) under Design, Build, Operate/ Maintain and Transfer on Annuity Mode. To purchase the Prequalification Document in English, eligible Applicants should:
Write to address above requesting the Prequalification Document for RSHIP Package 02.
Pay a non-refundable fee of INR 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) or US$ 800 (Eight Hundred US Dollars) (inclusive of taxes if any) through Demand Draft payable at Jaipur in favour of “PIU- PPP Division -1 PWD, Jaipur.
The document will be sent by Registered Post or may be collected from the address mentioned above upon request. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
Alternatively, the eligible Applicants can view and/ or download the Prequalification Document from the Authority’s web site www.pwd.rajasthan.gov.in; in such case, such Applicants shall submit the Demand Draft of INR 50,000 (US $ 800) payable at Jaipur in favour of “PIU-PPP Division-I, PWD Jaipur along with the submission of Application.
7. A pre-application conference shall be held on 15 March 2016 at 15:00 hours at the address. 8.

The Employer reserves the right to accept or reject late Applications 9.
