How can we intervene to address or prevent obesity and eating disorders at individual, social, environmental, and policy levels? What are the potential links between obesity and eating disorders from epidemiologic and treatment perspectives? How might culture and society contribute to these links?

Students will: ● Gain an understanding of the rise of the obesity epidemic, changes in obesity rates over time, and prevalence and assessment of eating disorders. ● Gain an understanding of potential links between obesity and eating disorders from etiological and treatment perspectives. ● Tackle current and potentially controversial topics in obesity or eating disorder prevention and intervention.
