Interim Grades

Returning on Monday, October 23rd Homerooms 116 and 145!! All students will be back in the building as of Monday! Restoration is still underway in the unoccupied classrooms and offices. Most of our students are back in their homerooms; however, some are utilizing classrooms assigned to our specialty teachers. Kudos to these specialists for traveling room-to-room to provide instruction to our students. It isn’t easy but everyone has been patient and understanding with the situation. In order to make up for the time PACS was out due to the water damage, the grade school will be in session on November 10th and February 19th.

Please log on to MMS to get a glimpse at your child’s year-to-date progress. The first report card will be available on December 1st. Please contact your child’s teacher if you have any question about his or her current performance or behavior.

October is Bullying Prevention Month Now that all of our students have returned to our building, we can now emphasize our goal to create a bully free environment at PACS. We will celebrate National Unity Day on October 25th. Students may wear an orange shirt as a sign of support, preferably their Be A Buddy shirts that were purchased last year. (This is not a dress down day. Students should be in regular uniform with the exception of an orange shirt.) We will also be selling a special Spirit Stick that students may purchase for $1.00 to add to their collection. The Spirit Stick says “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully”. Sticks will be sold in the cafeteria on October 25th or students can bring in their money in advance and hand it in to their homeroom teacher.

SOCKTOBER – Two of our students, Skylar Hazelwood and Gabriella Baum in conjunction with their Girl Scout Troop 9744 are running a campaign to collect new pairs of socks for those in need in our community. They will be setting up a box for their collection shortly.
