Badger High’s Scholarship Gala Planned For Nov. 18 Lake Geneva - October, 2016 – Badger High School will host its 4th annual Bucky’s Scholarship Gala on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at 6:30pm at the Riviera Ballroom in Lake Geneva. The party will benefit Badger’s scholarship endowment fund. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be disbursed to graduating seniors to support their continuing education. “As college costs continue to rise, the student need for scholarships is high,” said Russ Tronsen, Badger High School principal. “This event has enabled us to award more than $130,000 to Badger students, and we’ll continue to do everything we can to help them fund their education. We’re hoping for a strong community turn-out this year in support of the class of 2017. Together, we can meet our goal of raising $35,000 this year,” Tronsen said. The evening will begin with a champagne welcome toast served in a beautifully-inscribed flute that features the Badger logo. The flute is provided as complimentary party favor to all attendees. Guests will have a chance to mingle, bid in the silent auction and enjoy breathtaking views of Geneva Lake. Full beverage service will be provided by Sprecher’s Restaurant & Pub.

Bucky’s Scholarship Gala provides an elegant and entertaining evening, and benefits the Badger scholarship endowment fund. 100% of the proceeds are disbursed to graduating Badger High School seniors as scholarships.

Badger High School’s culinary students will serve up a delectable variety of cuisines including an exquisite fruit and cheese display served among a dramatic Bucky ice sculpture. A taste bud pleasing carving station featuring sliced beef tenderloin and carved pork, hot actions stations, mini bites, a towering shrimp cocktail platter and a dessert station will also be served. Guests will also enjoy the captivating sounds of The Jazz Scholars band and an animated live auction. Featured auction items include an in-home dinner party for eight, prepared by principal Tronsen; a pig roast party for 200 provided by Carvetti’s Grill & Tap House in Lake Geneva; and more. Tickets for Bucky’s Scholarship Gala are available for $80 per person, or $800 for a reserved table for eight.
