Science Alliance presents The Electrical ZAP! Friday, Oct 30 1:00pm-2:00pm Salem All Ages Registration is appreciated The Science Alliance returns with a show about electricity! Hands-on interactions featuring the hairraising Van de Graaff generator and the exciting buzz of the Tesla coil get kids charged up about electricity! They’ll build a human electric bridge while learning about safe static electricity. Flashes of simulated lightning from a Jacob's ladder show changes in energy. Students help demonstrate how electricity flows and how circuits are created and broken.

Learn the art of basket weaving with this market style basket that is woven with natural and dyed reed. Students will be able to choose from a variety of colors to personalize their basket to match their home décor or favorite color. All materials and tools supplied to make the basket. Come learn and enjoy! Basket Measures: 7” L x 6” W x 4” H (not including handle) NOTE: This is a two part class.
