2013 INDIA Altair India Announces the Next Round of the Altair Optimisation Contest (AOC) for Students

Altair India Optimisation Contest (AOC) 2013 Altair India announces the 2nd edition of the annual Altair Optimisation Contest (AOC) 2013 for Students. Students can now - at their own pace and venue - explore and learn more about the simulation techniques involved in the “CAE Driven Design Process“.

This contest is meant for students (UG / PG / PHD) of Mechanical, Aerospace, Automobile, Civil Engineering and Production Engineering domain from India & ASEAN region. The objective of the contest is for students to offer solutions to a combination of Industry defined problems using HyperWorks Student Edition: 1. Defined Optimisation contest problems using Altair’s industry leading optimisation solution OptiStruct. 2. Their own defined problems analysed/optimised using Altair HyperWorks. All completed entries will be judged by Panel of CAE experts from our Industry Partners (to be announced) & Altair India. • 1st Prize* - Tablet PC - 1 award + Certificate of Recognition. • 2nd Prize* - Mp3 Player - 2 awards + Certification of Recognition. All completed submissions will get a Certificate of Participation. * The 1st and 2nd prize winners will get an option for virtual student internship with Altair India.
