Aqua Fitness Classes

Aqua Box This class will incorporate kickboxing drills using the water’s resistance to develop muscle tone, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. Aqua Fit This class uses simple water dumbbells and the resistance of the water. This workout is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and energized. Aqua Gentle Joints The emphasis of this water-based class is slow, gentle range of motion exercises for all joints. These exercises also strengthen the muscles, which support the joints using the resistance of the water. Aqua Zumba This is an aqua aerobics class with a Latin flavor. It is low-impact and slower paced than the land Zumba classes.

l No swimming experience required for aqua fitness classes. l Visit www.neighborhoodclub.org to check on number of lap lanes available for each lap swim time. Lanes may be moved five minutes prior to scheduled programming. l At least one lap lane will be available during programming except where otherwise noted. l Children (15 and under) are only allowed during family swim and family lap swim hours. l All non-potty trained children must wear a swim diaper to enter the pool. l Pool is closed during evening + weekend swim lessons times except for the lap lane.

POOL RULES 1. Please take a soapy shower before entering pool. Patrons with open cuts, sores, bandages, colds, coughs or infected eyes are not permitted in the pool. 2. Children who are not toilet-trained and those less than three years old must wear a swim diaper and plastic pants. Cloth or disposable diapers are not accepted. 3. No shoes may be worn on deck. Clean flip-flops, Crocs and non-treaded sandals can be worn. 4. Children ages 13 and younger must have a responsible adult present in the building to use the pool unattended. 5. Non-swimmers must be within arm’s reach in the water at all times by a mature supervisor 16 years of age or older. 6. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted in pool during non-family swim hours. 7. Acceptable swim attire must be worn by patrons on the deck and in the water. 8. Only Coast Guard-approved lifejackets will be allowed in the pool. 9. Running on the pool deck is not allowed. 10. Only facility-provided toys may be used. 11. No one should engage the lifeguard in unnecessary conversation. 12. No glass bottles, food, gum or liquids except water allowed in pool. 13. Management and lifeguards will enforce any rule as deemed necessary to ensure the safety of the aquatic facility and our members and guests. 14. Management reserves the right to deny use of pool to anyone or close the pool at any time.
