FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Techstars Mobility to Host Patriot Boot Camp, Presented by Techstars October 2325, 2015 in Detroit, MI BOULDER, Colo., August 11, 2015 Patriot Boot Camp, presented by Techstars (PBC) is excited to announce a fall 2015 event to be held at Techstars Mobility at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan from October 23 to 25, 2015. The application period for Patriot Boot Camp is now open through September 14, 2015. We encourage all interested active duty service members, Veterans and military spouses to apply here : http://www.patriotbootcamp.org/pbcdetroitoctober2015/ Patriot Boot Camp is an intensive threeday event designed to engage, inspire, and mentor military Veterans and military spouses to start, innovate, and scale technologyfocused businesses. It is modeled after the threemonth Techstars accelerator and provided to Veterans, active servicemembers, and military spouses at no cost. Over the course of the event, PBC will provide approximately 45 participants with entrepreneurial education, mentoring, and networking to help them solidify a business idea, focus their fundraising pitch, and demonstrate progress along their entrepreneurial path. “PBC provides world class mentors whose goals are to help Veterans succeed as entrepreneurs! While attending PBC in Chapel Hill, North Carolina I got answers to questions I didn't even know to ask. As a result of the mentorship received, our startup has a clear picture of success and the direction for achieving it.” said Ray Antonino, a 2015 PBC alumnus, US Army Veteran, and founder of FieldVine, a startup building a mobile construction management platform. Patriot Boot Camp is made possible by the generous support of many organizations that are committed to seeing Veterans succeed as entreprene urs, founders and employees. The Jared Polis Foundation leads this support as the headline sponsor for 2015. Additional sponsors include SoftLayer and Techstars Mobility, who is hosting and donating facilities for the event. The mission of Patriot Boot Camp is to provide Veterans and their spouses with the support and resources they need to be successful technology entrepreneurs . Since 2012, Patriot Boot Camp has hosted events in Washington, D.C., Madison, Wisconsin, New York City, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
