PATS   General   Meeting   Minutes   TPS­MPR    Wednesday,   August   31,   2016    1.   Meeting   called   to   order   at   7:45am   by   Michelle   Clay,   President.  2. Pledge   of   Allegiance   by   Kelley   Wright,   Secretary.  3. Minutes:    A  motion   was   made   by   Mrs.Young   to   approve   the   Minutes   from   the   General  PATS   Meeting   held   on   May   12,   2016.    Mrs.   De   La   Cerda   seconded   the   motion   and   the  motion   was   approved.  4. Mr.   Santa   Cruz   provided   information   regarding   the   TPS   Athletics   Program.   Mr.   Bagby  providing   information   regarding   last   years   state   testing.  5. Treasurer’s   Report:   Erica   Hardin,   Treasurer   presented   the   PATS   General   Fund  information   dated   July   1,   2016   to   August   21,   2016   and   the   TPS   Account   Balances  information   dated   July   1,   2016   to   August   22,   2016.    The   2016­2017   PATS   Proposed  Budget   was   also   presented.   6. Proposed   Budget:    A  motion   was   made   by   Mrs.   Seymour   to   approve   the   proposed   budget  for   the   2016­2017   school   year.    Mrs.   Rubio   seconded   the   motion   and   the   motion   was  approved.    A  motion   was   made   by   Mrs.   Guzman   to   release   $2000   for   the   Father   Daughter  Dance.    Mrs.   De   La   Cerda   seconded   the   motion   and   the   motion   was   approved.   A  motion  was   made   by   Mrs.   Davison   to   cover   the   overage   of   $34.87   spent   on   the   purchase   of   a  new  computer   and   software.    Mrs.   De   La   Cerda   seconded   the   motion   and   the   motion   was  approved.    Mrs.   Yanez   made   a  motion   to   transfer   $2,264.10   from   the   Summer   Spending  account   back   to   the   General   Fund.    Mrs.   De   La   Cerda   seconded   the   motion   and   the  motion   was   approved.    Mrs.   Hastert   made   a  motion   to   transfer   $304.28   from   the   General  Fund   to   the   Scrip   Fund   in   order   to   bring   the   Scrip   balance   back   to   $7,500.    Mrs.   De   La  Cerda   seconded   the   motion   and   the   motion   was   approved.    7.   Back   to   School   Events   Recap:    Mrs.   Clay   reported   that   the   Back   to   School   breakfast   for  the   teachers   and   the   Back   to   School   Ice   Cream   Social   were   both   successful   events   and  that   PATS   received   positive   feedback   on   both   events.    8. Jog­A­Thon:    Mrs.   Clay   provided   information   regarding   the   upcoming   Jog­A­Thon  scheduled   for   September   22nd   and   23rd.    9. Scrip:    Mrs.   Evans   provided   information   regarding   the   Scrip   program.   10. Room   Parent   Meeting:    Mrs.   Clay   provided   information   regarding   the   upcoming   room  parent   meeting.    11.   Volunteers   Needed:    Mrs.   Clay   emphasized   the   need   for   school   volunteers.      Meeting   Adjourned   at   8:30am    Minutes   compiled   by   Kelley   Wright,   Secretary
