CORPUS CHRISTI (PROCESSION): Led by families & children of 1st Communion Next Sunday station areas take turns to carry Canopy on street. Four at a time. Procession divided into four parts. SERVERS: THANKS A MILLION TO THE SERVERS WE HAVE.. and to their parents, for without them committing there would be no servers. Fr. Vincent will visit the schools this coming week to talk to pupils (3RD/4th class up) who are willing to commence serving this September or before. It helps to make the celebration of the Mass more beautiful and helps the young to understand the Mass Hopefully everyone or nearly everyone in 3rd going into 4th will be delighted to do it. This week we complete the Stations for the spring. The Station Masses are a wonderful grace we have in our parish- many parishes don’t have them. Hopefully ,into the future, they will count with the support of Caltra Church community. There are 16 possible station areas- 14 held stations. Those areas (5 of them) where no family was open to inviting the station were invited to our Church for a Station Mass. Of the 5 few people came.

 New bishop Kevin Doran will take up office on Sunday 13th July with celebration in Sligo Cathedral at 5.30 pm. Mini bus from Caltra – contact Mary Noone or Carmel Murray  Anyone who would like to be a member of the PPC is most welcome Speak to any of the members. Meetings about every two months.  Members of Parish Council concerned at the drop-off in people at Mass and at drop- off in collections  At Mass, elderly to receive communion first- also ask that all others would join the line for Communion  Fr Vincent will make his sermon shorter  Parish Council can have subcommittees such as Finance & Liturgy  Anointing and Mass with sick on Sunday during summer 11.30am (Sun 20th July?)  Church Community Event in Community Centre – “tea-party” model- host a table. Details later  Proposal of Youth Mass, perhaps once a month.  Parish Council will help with Corpus Christi Procession CALTRA PLAYSCHOOL CAKE SALE: After mass on Sunday 22nd June. Your support would be greatly appreciated. SUICIDE AWARENESS & PREVENTION TALK: Superintendant Gerry Roche of Galway East Life Support(GELS) and a speaker from Console & Pieta House will give a short informative talk on Saturday 21st June @ 8.30pm in the new community centre.
