PARENT WEEKLY NEWSLETTER – October 4, 2017 ST. CLEMENT ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION SPIRIT WEAR SALE: Our Athletic Boosters are offering a variety of items with our St. Clement School logo. Items include pullovers, hoosies, polos, t-shirts and hats. If you wish to order an item, please us the attached order form and send the form and payment in an envelope to the school office. DEADLINE for orders is Monday October 16, 2017. MID-TERM REPORT CARDS GO HOME FRIDAY: Your student will receive their Mid-Term Report Card this Friday, October 6, 2017. Please check your student’s backpack. All Mid-Term report cards should be signed and returned to your student’s homeroom teacher on Monday. The first Semester will end on November 17, 2017. REMINDER - NO SCHOOL NEXT MONDAY: The school is closed next Monday, October 9, 2017 in observance of the National Holiday - Columbus Day. EARLY DISMISSAL PROCEDURES: If a student is to leave school early, a note or a phone call to the school office is necessary explaining the reason. The note will be sent to the office for recognition and permission and will be recorded. At the proper time, a parent will report to the school office to sign the student out and the student will then be called for special dismissal. TUITION/FEE PAYMENT REMINDER: All parents are reminded that tuition payments must be current or arrangements made with Mr. Eiser, before reports cards can be released for the 1st Semester, and your student(s) may not be re-admitted for the 2nd Semester unless tuition payments are current and/or arrangments have been approved. The 1st Semester ends on Friday, November 17, 2017 and report cards go home on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Please contact the school office if you have any questions. TUITION PAYMENTS can now be made ON-LINE by going to www.stclementcincinnati.org and following the directions below: Click on the Menu item “Parents” on the Main menu; Scroll down and Click on the “On-line Tuition and Fees Payment”item; select either “One-Time Payment” button or the “Recurring Payment” button and fillout your payment amount and payment method. The school office will be notified of your payment electronically and the payment will appear on next month’s statement. REMINDER #2 - FESTIVAL RAFFLE “DAY OFF SCHOOL”: Thanks again to all families and students in support of our Parish Raffle and Festival. As promised and after taking a poll of students, teachers and staff there was a clear winner in our selection of a “DAY OF SCHOOL”. Our reward day will be Monday, October 23, 2017. So mark your calendars now, NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2017.

GIRL’S BASKETBALL SIGN-UPS: Attached to this newsletter is the Girls Basketball Sign-up form for Grades 3 – 8. Please complete the attached registration form and submit it along with a $50.00 sport fee to the school office. Please mark on the envelope “Attention: Tricia Gastelium – Girls Basketball Sign-Ups”. All parents must also complete a GCCYS Liability Waiver form on-line at www.gccys.org before your student can participate. Deadline for sign-ups is Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Practices will begin in November. The season will begin the first week of December. Reminder: Any athlete participating in sports at St. Clement Parish must either attend St. Clement School or be a member of St. Clement Parish.
