chalky paints - may 8! By Debra Mills Join us at our May 8 meeting and Debra Mills will lead us in experimenting with the new DecoArt Chalky Finish Paints that are the current rage in home decor. Please bring: • your normal painting supplies • your choice of surface or surfaces to play with…. picture frames, boxes, glass jars, or anything of your choice. Price is $5 to cover the use of Deb’s supply of Chalky Finish Paint.
Don’t Forget to Bring Your Lunch & Drink If you would like to bring a snack or dessert to share, they are always welcomed!

Clermont UC East Art Show Submission... Our submission was sent in to the Clermont UC East Art Show, and we are now just awaiting word on whether we’ve been accepted.
Show & Tell! We always love to see what everyone else is doing, so bring one of your recent projects to our next meeting, we can have a mini art show! ARTFUL GOING-ONS May 10 – Art Fair 562 - 12:00-8:00 at Listermann Brewing Company (directly across the street from Xavier University). OHIO VALLEY ART GUILD IS A GROUP OF ARTISTS IN THE GREATER CINCINNATI AREA WHO LIKE TO SHARE THEIR COMPANIONSHIP AND LOVE OF CREATING IN VARIOUS ART FORMS, BUT PRIMARILY PAINTING. WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY AFFILIATED WITH ANY NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND TRY TO KEEP OUR MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS EASY AND STRESS FREE, WE GET TOGETHER ON THE SECOND THURSDAY OF MOST MONTHS TO SOCIALIZE AND PARTICIPATE IN A PROJECT CLASS TAUGHT BY ONE OF OUR MEMBERS. WE OCCASIONALLY BRING OUTSIDE INSTRUCTORS IN OR GO ON A FIELD TRIP WITH AN ART THEME.
