God Has Not Given Up on America! America is in economic, political, and moral decline, but the American Church is about to rise. Recent events may have some Christians discouraged, but now is the time to seize the opportunity for spiritual awakening. As the world around us grows darker with violence, immorality, corruption, and greed, many Americans are looking for the answers that can only be found in Christ. It’s our time to shine. We are at a crossroads. Will we maintain the status quo or even shrink back in fear? Or will we cry out to the Lord for mercy, in sincerity, from our hearts? We can see our community transformed if we will put aside every competing distraction and passion and wholeheartedly seek God’s face in unity. If we truly believe 2 Chronicles 7:14, it’s time we started to live like it. Pray. Nothing happens without prayer. Everything happens with it.

concludes at 5 pm. There will be a prayer walk at 10 am beginning outside on the south steps. At noon, Governor Brownback will welcome attenders of a rally in the rotunda. You are encouraged to meet with your legislator at 1 pm. You can also participate in a prayer meeting in room 142 South from 2 to 4 pm.

Let's Pour Ourselves Out for the Lord From Donna Lippoldt Culture Shield Network

Before the election, America experienced the largest call to prayer in my lifetime. Many of you attended the Can Prayer Save America Conference and heard Dave Butts. Below are some of his comments after the election. Across the nation I heard Christians praying for God to step into this situation. The Body of Christ came together across denominational lines to humble itself before the Lord and repent. A cry for revival within the Church arose across the land. We began to recognize that the problem isn't the White House, but our house. It's over . . . or is it? Not the elections, but this re-energized movement of prayer. November 7th might well be a more crucial day than November 6th, election day. Now we must decide whether or not we will continue to seek the face of God on behalf of our nation. It is now, after the heat of the political process has died down, that we see if the Church will allow the fire of the Spirit of God to still empower our prayers. Please, please don't stop. For the sake of our children and the Glory of God, please don't stop. Come join us as we continue to press in during this hour of our lives. As we have seen with the tragedy in Connecticut, we don't know about tomorrow. Let's pour ourselves out for the Lord today. 2012 began as a journey to December 8th. We didn't know how God would put this gathering together nor all of the details that would have to come together in the months leading up to the gathering that God so beautifully orchestrated. From Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback declaring December 8th as a day of restoration for his state, to the powerful worship, prayer, and outpouring of God's Spirit that united pastors in Topeka and across the United States, it was a moment to remember in the life of the Body of Christ. 2013 looks to be even more exciting. God is calling ReignDown USA to gather believers in Israel in October. This will be a monumental undertaking, but one we truly believe is the desire of God's heart. Will you support this call? Please consider giving a gift to help this gathering take place. It is only by the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ's followers gathered in prayer, and the financial support from the people who want to see the Body of Christ around the world unite will this happen. Your donation is tax deductible. God bless you and thank you for your prayerful support of ReignDown USA in 2012, and now in support of ReignDown Israel in 2013. We can't wait to see what God has in store. Shawn Marie Cole, ReignDownUSA.com

Our Vision: 31 Churches each praying 24 hours once a month, covering the capital city with continuous prayer from a coordinated list of prayer needs. How could the city not be transformed? Why not Topeka? Why not now?
