Stipendiary Trainee / Pass in SSC with Science and Mathematics and English as one of the Technician (ST/TM) subjects at SSC level examination with 2 years ITI. Wherever for trades for which the ITI course is less than 2 years, 1 year experience (Category II) in the relevant area after completion of the course shall be required.

Stipendiary Trainee / Scientific Assistant for HPU (ST/SA) (Category-I)

a. Diploma with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development. The Diploma in Engineering should be of three years duration after SSC/HSC. b. Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination. Note : Diploma acquired through lateral entry to 2nd year after completion of X (SSC) + ITI will not be considered for the post. a. B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks. B.Sc. shall be with Physics as principal and Chemistry/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Chemistry as principal and Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage. Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential. b. Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible. c. Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination. a. SSC (10 years) with not less than 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually b. 2 years ITI certificate (For Trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates shall have atleast one year relevant working experience after completion of the course. c. Shall have English as one of the subjects atleast at SSC level examination.

The Project Affected Person (PAP) fulfilling the requirements for any post as per advertisement should upload valid PAP certificate issued by the District Authority. The following persons fall within the definition of PAP. The title holder of the land/house, his spouse and dependents form a family, whose land has been acquired for TAPS 1&2/TAPS 3&4. The adults are considered as “Hissedars/Co-heirs of the ancestral property and as such are treated as families. Married daughters, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren do not form part of the “family”. The applications of such Project Affected candidates from whose family no one has got employment under PAP category in NPCIL on regular basis will only be considered for relaxation under PAP category. Other than PAPs of TAPS-1&2 and TAPS-3&4 are not eligible for any relaxation.

4. Age Relaxation a. Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years for OBC, provided the certificate of not belonging to creamy layer in the format prescribed by Govt. of India from a Competent Authority is issued in the current year. The OBC candidates who belong to Creamy Layer are not entitled for OBC concession/relaxation. b. Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST. c. Age relaxation upto a maximum of 5 years commensurate with their NPCIL experience will be given to contract employees who have worked with NPCIL. d. Upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST and 13 yrs for OBC). e. Upper age limit as prescribed in the advertisement shall not be applicable to employees already serving in NPCIL. 5. Physical Standards

7. Bond for Stipendiary Trainee (Category I and II) The selected candidates will be required to execute an Agreement, Indemnity Bond /Bank Guarantee and Service Bond for a period 3 (three) times the period of training subject to a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years and in the event of breach of bond, the amount repayable will be equivalent to the stipend plus book allowance actually received.

Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I) - On successful completion of training may be absorbed as Scientific Assistant/B at minimum level of pay matrix attached to the post of Scientific Assistant /B as per 7th CPC. However, additional increments may be granted to the candidates depending upon the percentage of marks obtained during the training. (ii) Stipendiary Trainees (Category-II) - On successful completion of training may be absorbed as Technician/B at minimum level of pay matrix attached to the post of Technician/B as per 7th CPC. However, additional increments may be granted to the candidates depending upon the percentage of marks obtained during the training. (iii) On absorption, they will be eligible for other allowances like Dearness Allowance, Children Education Assistance, Canteen Subsidy, Site Allowance, Cable TV reimbursement, News Paper Reimbursement, Medical Assistance, Site Conveyance Allowance, Washing Allowance, Accommodation, School facility etc. as admissible from time to time as per Corporation Rules.

However, Trainees who score less than the prescribed marks for absorption will not be absorbed and will be discharged from training. Absorption of the trainees is further subject to the Company’s requirement of manpower, availability of vacancies, suitability of trainees for absorption as per the assessment of the management.
