Meeting Pre-K Classes Miss. Kufro’s 5th period Parenting class meets Miss. Wagner and Mrs. Peiser’s PRE-K classes on Halloween!!
As the parenting class learned about child development, they visited our PRE-K kids to see at the ages of 3-5 how they were acting and what interested them. When the kids visited, they did activities for Halloween like making dirt cups with pudding and crumbled oreos and also Jack-O-Lantern crafts the kids got to make themselves. All the students had a great time and Miss. Kufro, Miss. Wagner, and Mrs. Peiser hoped to do another activity like this around the end of the year for all the kids to enjoy. 4
Miss Kufro’s “Got Values?” Project Miss Kufro's high school Family and Consumer Science class started a “Got Values?” project this year to promote value awareness. The project includes designing a bulletin board and displaying their chosen values in an effort to get students thinking. This month's bulletin board was designed by Austin Fox, Yasin Zuberi, and Tai Gettig. November's Got Values? bulletin board. Superb job and message boys!
Holiday Review It’s time for the review of the issue. There are a lot of holidays coming up, so I wanted to review a holiday. I don’t know all of the holidays, not fully, so I am going to say my favorite holiday and explain why. My favorite holiday is Christmas; This is no disrespect to people who do not like or do not celebrate it, but I love this holiday. Why? Well, for one thing, I get to be with my family. Secondly, I get a really long break from school. Lastly, not to sound greedy, but the presents are great. Now, I know the other holidays have some great things about them, but like I said, Christmas is my favorite. You can like Easter better, or Thanksgiving better, but this is my opinion. That is all for the review of this issue. I hope you agree with me, but if not, I completely understand. 5
