CHARACTER COUNTS! sm November 2011
What does it mean to be Responsible?
responsibility
We are responsible when we think before we act...when we fix our mistakes....do
our homework and cleanup a&er ourselves. We are responsible when we take good care of things that are lent to us...like library books. Responsible people set a good example and think of ways to help others. They do their best and keep
trying even when something is difficult.
World Kindness Day 2011
World Kindness Day is November 13th. This was the opening day of the first
World Kindness Movement® conference held in Tokyo in 1998. The purpose of
World Kindness Day is to look beyond ourselves, beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond ourculture, our race, our religion; and realize we are citizens of focus on what we have in common. We the world. As world citizens we must must work toward the goal of a peaceful way of life. Random acts of kindness go a long way. Quotes about kindness will be shared with students throughout the month of November during morning announcements.
