February 9, 2017 We are again looking for a parent representative to serve on our ​Local Education Council​ (LEC). This committee serves as an advisory board to the principal. They meet on the second Tuesday of the month from 3:30-4:30. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact me. Mark your calendars: Friday, March 17th will be our annual ​Art Show and Family Literacy Night​. The art show will be from 5-6pm and Family Literacy Night will take place from 6-7:30. We are again looking for donations of gently used books for the book swap, as well as volunteers to help serve as guest readers. We will also need help prior to that evening getting artwork ready to display and setting up for the night. Please contact Ms. Martin at [email protected]​ if you are available to help. There will be no ​folders ​going home next week because of the vacation week. Have a wonderful, fun-filled February vacation. Friday, March 3rd will be​ Our Own Earth Day​.
