2015 -2016 Membership Enrollment is now open! All 2014 -2015 memberships expires on October 31st Enroll now and vote at our first meeting! Our first Association meeting is September 21st – in the Noble staff lounge – 6:30 -7:30pm * You must be enrolled for up to 30 days in order to vote- enroll now and come make a difference!

Life without the Arts Would be a blank canvas with nothing to say… When you join the PTA you make a difference in how your child experiences the world they live in. PTA supports the arts thru drama, art exploration and communication … quite simply, we encourage your children to thrive!! We help to bring in science assemblies so your child can continue to grow without ever leaving our campus! PTA also provides your child the tools to communication thru Project Cornerstone. So while they are here they have what they need to feel safe in kid power! Join PTA today!

Art connects us more deeply to the world around us and allows us to see the world we live in, in new and exciting ways…It inspires us to read, engages cognitive ability, engages critical thinking and improves well being. Art serves every one of us.

Monsters Monsters Monsters

We have kicked off our new arts offerings to our children! If your child is coming home and talking about the monsters they are making, that is because we are in our first semester of “Monster Madness!” the first of three projects our team of Artists will be giving to our Noble students. We are thoroughly enjoying seeing what our students are making! Look for an invitation soon to your child’s art exhibit during the Fall Festival on October 16th. We would like to restart the literacy program to help our struggling readers. Reading Literacy is the basics to an educational journey full of enrichment! Please contact me with how you can help! Help your child’s classroom in the following ways: • With a tax-deductible donation- send your child on an incredible field trip! The time for our kids to have the opportunity to explore beyond the classroom is now. • Can’t donate money? Offer your time! • Offer to drive on a fieldtrip • Help your teacher in class. • Are you a working Parent? Volunteer to help take home prep work for your class… Teachers will have more time to teach! • Want to help your Teacher’s bottom line? Bring in tissues, paper towels and other classroom supplies they need, so their very small budgets can stretch even further!

Please help our efforts to fund our teacher’s accounts Elementary is where we as parents really can and do make a huge difference! Not just in our child’s life, but their friends and classmate’s lives as well. Welcome Back!

Project Cornerstone

Thank you, Ramya Janardhanan and Shiva Ankam for taking the lead to bring our children this very valuable program. Our children gain many life skills from this program and look forward to it every year. Please, let them know if you can be a reader for your class… some classes do not have readers yet! Programs Grants

A Very big “THANK YOU!” To Chiara Sani for her grant writing expertise and winning our school money for Project Cornerstone!!! We are off to an excellent start this year!!

Starting Arts-Peter Pan We are looking to continue our arts and Drama program this year. This year we would like to run the wonderful story of Peter Pan! A lot of fantastic parts for boys and girls! Please come and vote at our first association meeting- September 21st We are scheduled to start rehearsals January 11th Technical week – April 4-8th Performances- April 9th 10th *Funds- Pending Association approval

Robotics

We are trying to start a very new program here at noble! We would like to offer our kids Lego robotics to our 4th and 5th graders! It would be small to start and then once the program is evaluated it could change and grow. With any new program the beginning is the hardest part! We have two wonderful parents Hayden Metz and Dan Pound who have graciously offered to teach this. Science Olympiad Last Year Deborah Anderson led the charge on an exciting new program… Science Olympiad! The kids were amazing and Medaled in 5 categories!! Wow!
