January 2015 The weeks before Christmas were filled with custom orders & repairs, all in all about 12 different items to work on. Let’s start with these necklace & earrings sets. Someone liked the purple design & asked if I could make two more versions of it but in peridot & blue topaz. We got exact colors figured out & questions answered. January 2015 For a month or so, I worked on ideas for a custom request of a necklace & bracelet inspired by two children’s books. A simple sparkly necklace with a heart in hand charm & a bracelet with I love you to the moon stamped into polymer clay. I enjoyed working on the bracelet in particular as I haven’t made anything from the clay for nearly 3 years. Custom requests just have a way of inspiring me & getting experiments going! Any requests for book inspired jewelry? This necklace probably looks a little familiar; the original set had sold & I received a request to

make just the necklace. That I happily did (debating whether to also make one for me, I frequently wear those colors) & found that I really like how the clusters of dangles give the design both a pop of color & movement. The lady who makes (and hand paints) the lovely pendant, has them in a few other colors like yellow + purple, orange + pink & ruby pink + teal. Would you be interested in other color options for this necklace design?
