Welcome from your Principal Welcome to Fellows. Fellows is a place where students, families, and teachers work collaboratively to ensure all students succeed! Our teachers hold high academic and behavioral expectations and provide effective, individualized instruction. We encourage students to embrace differences and similarities.

PTO PURPOSE PTO works to improve the education experience at Fellows by strengthening communication and supporting positive relationships between home and school; providing financial support for educational enrichment; and fostering a greater sense of community by hosting family activities and events throughout the year.

I’m excited for everyone to experience our new building. It is designed for students to be actively engaged with multiple instruction strategies and technology tools, while staff proactively respond to student needs. It is going to be an exciting year! -Carol Page

Welcome from your PTO As a new family at Fellows, we want to welcome you to our school community and tell you that we are very glad you have chosen Fellows. It is the goal of PTO to involve families to support teachers so that all of our students can flourish. We work together to identify and respond to FAMILY, STUDENT, TEACHER, and BUILDING NEEDS. You are invited to our monthly meetings where we make decisions about how to best utilize our time and dollars to support Fellows. You are also invited to participate in a variety of PTO events for students and families throughout the year. We hope you will consider getting involved in PTO. -Kelley Glotfelty & Angie Weber

What is PTO? The Fellows PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Fellows. The PTO includes all teachers, staff members, parents and guardians of students at Fellows. We have three primary goals: 1) Raise funds for teacher and student enrichment; 2) Provide a volunteer support network; 3) Promote open communication between families, teachers and administrators. Go to www.jostens.com to purchase your 2016-2017 yearbook. The cost is $15. Yearbooks will be delivered during the last week of school. _____________

What does PTO do? PTO supports the amazing work already being done at Fellows by giving extra resources including funds and volunteer time to help make our school great! A few recent activities include: purchasing new playground equipment, curriculum and classroom resources; funding annual teacher mini grants, field trip fees and busing; and organizing family events and teacher appreciation activities throughout the year.

How does PTO accomplish goals? PTO relies on family members to volunteer for PTO events and to provide financial support. Please contribute your time or make a small financial donation to support PTO (suggested donation of $5-$10 per family). Checks made out to PTO are accepted in the Main Office at Fellows. PTO also sponsors a few small fundraising activities and two large annual fundraising events including Read-A-Thon in January and the Fellows Fair in May.

SPIRIT WEAR! Wear black and orange to show your school spirit on the first Friday of every month. Fellows Spirit Wear will be on sale this fall. Look for information on facebook and in your student’s backpack.
