All Members / Custodians / Banks Connect2NSE (C2N) Applications Exchange / Clearing Corporation are in the process of upgrading the security configurations of the communication layer w.r.t web applications i.e. NCMS, CIM, C2N Extranet, C2N Margins and Member Portal applications. Post the upgrade, access to NCMS, CIM, C2N Extranet, C2N Margins and Member Portal applications shall be available through desktops with OS Windows 7 or 8 and IE version 8 or above.

Accordingly, members are requested to ensure that the desktops through which NCMS, CIM, C2N Extranet, C2N Margins and Member Portal application is accessed has OS Windows 7 or 8 and IE version 8 or above on or before March 09, 2015. Members with the above version only shall be able to login to NCMS, CIM, C2N Extranet, C2N Margins and Member Portal after March 09, 2015.

Additionally, security settings for the browser should be set up as per details provided in Annexure – 1. The details given in the Annexure – 1 are already being displayed on CONNECT2NSE home page and CIM front end since mid November 2014.

Annexure 1 Settings to be done on IE browser at client end i. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Security ii. Following options shall be checked a. Use SSL 3.0 b. Use TLS 1.0 c. Use TLS 1.1 d. Use TLS 1.2 iii. iv.

Kindly apply and save the changes and restart the browser/EXE. Kindly upgrade IE browser to the latest version if ‘Use TLS1.2’ option is not available
