Post No.1 Scientist-B (Communication Specialist)

Essential Qualifications & Experience: a) Bachelor degree or equivalent in Journalism/Public relations. b) Three years experience in medical writing in the media for the lay person Desirable Qualifications: a) Experience in writing Cancer related medical articles in International/National media. b) Working familiarity with Social & Electronic media. Job Requirements: To produce press releases that contain important updates, manage public events, handle incoming requests for information from media outlets etc. Post No.2 Scientist ‘B’ (Population Scientist)

Essential Qualifications: Masters’ degree in Population Studies/Social Sciences with two years experience in Demographic and Health related research project. Desirable Qualification: Experience in analyzing Demographic and Health survey data and experience in project report preparation. Notes: (i) (ii)

PhD in relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years experience. Candidates with Ph.D. degree will be preferred.

Job Requirements: The candidate should be able to help in cancer screening activities in the Camps set up in rural areas and should be willing to get involved in the training of paramedical workers in the field of cancer screening. The candidate should be willing for both, field and clinic based work.

Post No.3 Scientist-B (Oral Health)

Essential Qualifications & Experience: BDS recognised by DCI from a recognized University with 2 years experience, post BDS, in Public Health Dentistry. Desirable Qualifications: (i) (ii)

MDS Public Health Dentistry/Oral Medicine. Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). Knowledge of Computer Applications. Two years R&D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualifications.

Job Requirements: The candidate should be able to carry out oral cancer screening activities in the Camps set up in rural areas and should be willing to get involved in the training of paramedical workers in the field of cancer screening. The candidate should be willing for both, field and clinic based work. Post No.4 Scientist ‘B’ (Physician)

Essential Qualifications & Experience: MBBS recognised by MCI from a recognized University with 2 years experience, post MBBS in Community Medicine/Obstetrics and Gynaecology/Surgery). Desirable Qualifications: (i) (ii)

MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)/Community Medicine/MS (Surgery). Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). Knowledge of Computer Applications. Two years R&D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after obtaining essential qualifications.

PhD or MD in relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to three years experience respectively. Candidates with MD/MDS or Ph.D. degree will be preferred.

Age limit For All Four Posts Mentioned Above: Not exceeding 35 years as on the last date of application. Relaxable up to 5 years for Government servants and SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Department of Personnel and Training from time to time in this regard.
