Objectives: • Introduce students with the principles and current technologies of multimedia systems; • Develop a comprehensive understanding of multimedia standards, tools and systems; • Develop students understanding on the current issues and trends of research in Multimedia systems, • Enable students gain hands-on experience in multimedia capturing, processing, transmitting, content representing, and retrieval;
