Martin Stevenson My name is Martin Stevenson and I live and work in Cambridge, a very nice city in the south of England. Cambridge is famous for its university. The city is full of students who study at the different colleges, such as Kings College, Trinity College or Peterhouse. I live in a house near the centre of the city. My house has got a living room, a dining room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms a kitchen and a garden. My favourite part of the house is the garden because it is quite big and sunny. I spend hours reading or having a nice cup of tea in my garden when the weather is not very cold. My bedroom is not very big but I have everything I need: a bed, two big shelves, a wardrobe, an armchair, a big desk and a little balcony. I love my balcony because I love flowers. It is not very big but there is room enough for my flowers. I work in an office and during the day I don’t do any exercise, but I eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. I don’t like meat or cheese. For lunch, I often have salad and I drink orange juice or mineral water. At weekends I do a lot of exercise. I enjoy cycling and I love swimming. Before dinner, on Saturdays and Sundays, I walk a lot. I spend more than two hours walking. People say walking is boring but I never get bored because I walk with my friend Eileen. We always have a good time together. I love reading and I love going shopping. At home, I often wear T-shirts or jeans but when I go out I love wearing formal clothes: a jacket and a tie.
