This position is based at our Phu Kham Copper-Gold Operation, an open cut mine located approximately 120km north of the Lao capital, Vientiane. Reporting to the Trades Training Supervisor, you will play a key role in developing the auto electrical systems training program for our tradespeople in the mobile maintenance department. You will also mentor them in their on-job training and skills enhancement. Your key responsibilities include: Provide high quality theoretical and practical training to the mobile maintenance team Continuously improve the trades training methods and modules to suit with the mobile maintenance requirements Assist in the development and implementation of the Apprentice Trades Training Programs Supervise We are seeking: Trade qualification in Heavy Equipment/Electrical fitting Strong auto electrical background, with experience working on heavy equipment 3 years experience in a training or supervisory role with a large mining contractor, owner miner or OEM High accountability and quick learner coupled with outstanding interpersonal skills Be committed to supporting the growth of National employees Unwavering commitment to safety
