Dr. P. Narasimha Reddy, Executive Director, SNIST welcomed the members of Governing Body. and ordered for agenda.

Item No. 15.3 Sub:-To ratify the action taken by the Sub-committee of the Governing Body to approve the following proposals: Resolved to ratify the action taken by the Sub-committee of the Governing Body in respect of the following issues and ratified the same: a.

Proposal for foreign travel by Faculty members of EEE Department , i.e. Ms. Koganti Srilakshmi, Asst. Professor, and Ms. L. Rama Devi.

b)

Contingent allowance of Rs. 10,000/- to the faculty for preparation of Ph. D. Thesis .

c)

Encouraged faculty for Patent Filing.

d)

Financial support in the form of Seed Money to an extent of Rs. 1.00 lakh for R&D work and adopting formats and guidelines devised by Faculty of OU

College of Engineering, Hyderabad. 1

e)

Selection of M. Tech. Students under TEQIP for financial support of Rs. 8,000/- to each student.

f)

Approved recruitment of Mr. Ravi as IPR Advisor under TEQIP at a salary of Rs. 25,000/- p.m.

g)

Members have noted the expenditure booked under 9 components of TEQIP and the balances left and Re-appropriation of funds available.
