RECLASSIFICATION OF THE PROVINCE OF ALBAY, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1978, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF PRESIDENTIAL DECREE

NO. 465. T0

The Regional Director for Local Government Finance, Region V, the Provincial Governor, Sangguniang Panglalawigan, Provincial Treasurer, Provincial Auditor and Others Concerned.

Pursuant to Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 465, and on the basis of the average annual income of P5,160,023.12, actually realized during the last four (4) consecutive fiscal years (1974-1977), as certified by the Commission on Audit under letter dated December 10, 1979, the present classification of the province of Albay as a First Class province is hereby maintained, effective as of July 1, 1978. Furthermore, on the basis of its average annual income of P5,748,9O7.91 actually realized during the last two (2) consecutive fiscal years (1976-1977), the province of Albay also maintains its present subclassification as First Class-B, also effective July 1, 1978 pursuant to Section 3 of said Presidential Decree. The foregoing classification and subclassification of the province shall be the basis for determining the maximum amounts expendable for salaries and wages, representation allowances, administrative aids and other statutory contributions in the adoption of the annual budgets, as well as the maximum salary rates of local government officials and employees in accordance with existing law and regulations.
