Migration, is defined as the act of "moving from one place to anothe~ith the intentions of settling, pèrmanently or temporarily in a new location" (WikipedÍé:y€jfg) This could be for multiple reasons, but there are two main types of migration: forced migration, and chosen migration. Forced migration occurs when someone's original country has been a victim of war, famine or a natural disaster. One example of this would be the situation in Calais, France with approximately 5500 refugees from Syria, Afghanistan and Eritrea, escaping persecution and violence, (HelpRefugees.org) On the other hand, chosen migration is when people decide to move for financial reasons, such as getting a new job and also opportunities, such as a better educati,pR or learning new languages. Mexican immigrants are extremely beneficial to the United State~economically and socially for multiple reasons.
