HOW TO GET THERE There are various ways to arrive at Cappadocia and the conference venue. BY PLANE: Fastest, and not expensive if you purchase your ticket in advance (€15€45) , way is by plane. There are several daily nonstop flights from both Istanbul's Atatürk Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) to Nevsehir-Cappadocia Airport (NAV) and Kayseri's Erkilet Airport (ASR) on Turkish Airlines and Pegasus Air. There are 3 domestic flights from Istanbul Airports to Nevsehir-Cappadocia Airport (NAV) in March/April whereas there are up 20 flights from Istanbul Airports to Kayseri's Erkilet Airport (ASR) in March/April. Therefore, we suggest international participants follow the option below: *Kayseri’s Erkilet Airport (ASR): With almost 15-20 flights a day from Istanbul Airports, Kayseri Airport is a great option to reach Cappadocia. Kayseri (Erkilet Airport) is around 1 hour away from Cappadocia. From Istanbul Airports to Erkilet Airport is generally €15-€30 if you buy up to 2-4 weeks earlier. We will provide shuttle services (based on your arrival) for participants from Kayseri’s Erkilet Airport to conference venue on 29 March 2017 (possibly at 11:00, 17:00, 23:00) and once on 30 March 2017 (10:00). You can take a flight to Ankara (Esenboga Airport), which is around 300kms to Cappadocia. From Ankara you can both take a bus or private transfer through us to Cappadocia. BY BUS: Since there is not a wide railway in the region, you can find busses available to various destinations in Turkey. The busses used for transportation among provinces are modern, comfortable and always air conditioned. They are much cheaper than the flights. Long distance busses generally run overnight.
