Madam President Message

I would like to thank everyone so far for a successful year so far. The 2nd Chance Bar Bonanza went very well I would like to thank everyone who volunteered to help. Our next Bar Bonanza will be April 14th from 7pm-10pm. March 17th will be our next Gun Raffle see Treena or a Bartender for tickets. We will be hosting the Mason Dixon Conference April 6-7th if you would like to volunteer to help please let me or an officer know. Remember Wednesday April 18th at Aerie Meeting will be nominations for 2018-2019 Aerie Officers and May 2nd will be Election of Officers if necessary. These two dates will be posted in the Aerie room as well as webpage and social media. Don’t forget to sign up a new or reenroll a member today. Remember our motto People Helping People!!

Hello Sisters, The FOE #1067 Auxiliary is 90 years old. Happy 90th Anniversary to you all! We have a long history of supporting the Aerie and our charities. You all should be proud of the generosity that has achieved great things! I hope you enjoyed your holidays! The weather outside is up and down now but it should be better in a few weeks. Try to stay well during this awful flu season. We had a wonderful Christmas party and a fun New Year’s Eve celebration. Thank you to the volunteers who helped with both of those events. I would like to say thank you to Susan Fogle who chaired the Paint Night Event on January 13 and Diana Booth who chaired our Valentine’s Day Dance on February 9, 2018. These events gave a lot of joy to the participants and were very successful for our charities. I appreciate the attendees for these events and the additional volunteers who helped make these events successful: Beth Novosat, Becky Servey, Debbie Boyce, Mona Curtis, Amy Heerd, Noelle Main, Wally Stickley, Kevin Heerd, Tommy Booth and of course our great bartender Tyler Booth. The Spring Quarter Auction will be held on Saturday, April 14; doors open at 11 a.m. and the auction starts at 1 p.m... You can contact a Ladies Auxiliary Officer to purchase a ticket. Tickets are $5.00 for this event and can be purchased now. Please come out and support your auxiliary and win some great prizes. Please help the Auxiliary increase its membership. The goal for each member is to bring one new member or more into the Auxiliary each year. The Grand Aerie and Auxiliary are hosting a contest for a membership drive. Please see the flyer that is included in this newsletter regarding this contest. We would also greatly appreciate it if you would volunteer at least one event per year. You can contact me directly if you decide to volunteer 240.446.4302. Thank you in advance for your help. C. C. Beshai Madam President

Fraternally Yours, Larry J Keyser Jr. Worthy President
