Computer Labs

Our auditorium with a stage accommodates up to 300 persons in seating. The auditorium is available for rental for all your company events.

The computer labs in KISMEC provide the means to learn and use various software programs such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Inventor etc.

Classrooms for Rental

KISMEC students and guests can have their meals at our café.

Industries can rent our classrooms for their programs.

KISMEC-AWS Accredited Test Facility

Programs are run full time and also part time for workers. Examination will be conducted in KISMEC and assessment by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

KISMEC Oil and Gas Centre offers welding programs for heavy industries in Oil and Gas, Ship Building and Petrochemical.

Membership Fees There are three types of KISMEC membership. Members are only required to pay a one time fee and enjoy life long membership with KISMEC.

FOUNDER MEMBERSHIP KISMEC has 20 Founder Members. Your privileges as an Founder Member are as follows:1. Be eligible to seek election to the Management Council of the Centre, at its Annual General Meeting. 2. Be eligible to vote in the Annual General Meeting. Fee : RM 12,000

ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP Your privileges as an Ordinary Member are as follows:1. Be eligible to one vote each at the Annual General Meeting, and will be eligible to serve on the Management Council after completion of one year membership upon approval. 2. Be eligible to nominate not more than one Founder or Ordinary Member for election to the Management Council. Fee : RM 2,500

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP Your privileges as an Associate Member are as follows:1. Be eligible to attend the Annual General Meeting as an observer. Fee : RM 1,000

Completed application form must be submitted together with : A crossed cheque for the amount of the membership fee as stated above, made payable to “KISMEC Grant Account”.

Membership Criteria 1. Opting for Holding Company Membership An organisation may opt to apply for membership as a separate legal entity or as a group of company operating under the direct control of a parent holding company. KISMEC will only liaise with the parent holding company. The membership fee shall cover the number of employees of the separate legal entity or the group of related companies as the case may be. Note : The number of employees employed should include branches, as well as for subsidiaries of companies opting for holding company membership. It includes both management and non-management staff. Contractual labour is excluded.

3. Attachment Partners – Student Internship Program (S.I.P) Members of KISMEC are required to provide 5 attachments and internship placements for final year KISMEC students. The KISMEC ‘s S.I.P is arranged continuously so that member companies can benefit from an almost continual one year period of student attachments. Member companies which have participated in the attachment programs have cited the following benefits:
