Circular Ref. No : 832/2014 To All Members Sub: Migration of member’s VSATs from INSAT-3E to GSAT-14 Satellite The Exchange had intimated to all members vide Circular No. NSE/MEM/22340 dated December 19, 2012 & NSE/MEM/22610 dated January 24, 2013 regarding migration of VSATs from NSE Captive network to HCL Shared Hub network. The VSAT migration from NSE Captive network to HCL Shared Hub network on INSAT-3E was completed in March 2013. Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has informed HCL that services on INSAT-3E are expected to be disrupted due to technical snag and allocated bandwidth on alternate Satellite GSAT14. M/s. HCL has provisioned necessary setup at their Shared Hub network for seamless VSAT migration to new Satellite. The Exchange would like to inform the members opted for Shared Hub VSAT services with M/s. HCL as per above said circulars that member VSATs need to be realigned to GSAT 14 from existing INSAT 3E. This activity would involve visit by HCL engineer on member site and the charges for the same @ Rs. 5,000/- plus taxes per VSAT shall be payable by respective members. The Exchange would further like to bring attention of the members to the clause 3 (b) of the member PO issued by them to M/s. HCL Comnet Ltd. as per above said circulars whereby charges for such incidents are agreed @ Rs. 5,000/- per VSAT (exclusive of taxes). Further, to expedite the migration process, members are informed that the Exchange will recover the amount payable towards the migration charges for above activity from Exchange Dues Account and remit the same to M/s. HCL Comnet Ltd. on behalf of the members. M/s. HCL Comnet Ltd. will issue respective invoices to concerned members.
Members are requested to take note of above and are advised to allow HCL team to carry out the migration activity during day hours and extend their co-operation to HCL team for seamless VSAT migration to new satellite.
