MEET MARTY





You can call him Marty, Martin, Marty Mo, or Mini Mo!! He will probably respond to any of these names! Marty is a 16-month-old Goldendoodle and is Reeder’s new school dog! Marty is my pet and came into my life at a very difficult but perfect time. Marty was rescued from a neglectful situation by my veterinarian who asked me to provide him with a home. I agreed and hoped that Marty would get to meet Moses. Unfortunately Moses died of his cancer before that could happen. My desire was for Marty to continue Moses’ work but only if he liked it. Marty and I have worked hard together, had lots of fun, and have passed all of the necessary tests and requirements to become a certified therapy dog team with the organization Love on a Leash. Now Marty barks with excitement when I ask him if he wants to go to school. He knows that something special is going to happen when he puts on his blue therapy dog vest. Marty and I are gradually visiting each classroom for introductions. He has quickly captured the kids’ hearts! I think our newest Reeder Roadrunner is here to stay!!
