MBAF’S FRANK GONZALEZ ELECTED AS TREASURER OF ORANGE BOWL COMMITTEE MIAMI – April XX, 2015 – Frank Gonzalez, CPA/CFF, principal-in-charge of the Audit Department at nationally recognized public accounting firm MBAF, was elected to the 20152016 Executive Committee of the Orange Bowl and will serve as its treasurer. The Orange Bowl is a 363-member, primarily-volunteer non-profit sports organization that promotes and serves the South Florida community. The Orange Bowl features a year-round schedule of events culminating with the 2015-16 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Capital One Orange Bowl on December 31, 2015. “Frank is a noted leader both in the firm and in the South Florida community,” said Tony Argiz, Chairman and CEO of MBAF. “I congratulate him on this new role and know he will approach his role as treasurer with the same enthusiasm and dedication he shows his clients on a daily basis.” In his role as treasurer, Frank will be responsible for the overall financial operations of the committee including finance and investment commitments, and policies and procedures followed by the committee's internal management.
