May 14, 2013 Toronto Premium Outlets Job Fair On Thursday June 6, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Toronto Premium Outlets will host a job fair at the Milton Sports Centre, 605 Santa Maria Blvd., Milton. After a thorough review of potential facilities including the Gellert Centre and Mold Masters Sportsplex, it was determined that there is not a facility in Halton Hills that will meet the requirements. “Concerns were raised about hosting the job fair at Mold Masters Arena as it would have negatively impacted local businesses in terms of parking and traffic congestion. The Gellert Centre was just too small as the job fair is expected to attract over 1,500 people. The Job Fair will be advertised in the Georgetown Independent one week prior to any other newspaper advertising which will give Halton Hills residents a head start advantage. I encourage those who are interested in employment at the Toronto Premium Outlets located in Halton Hills to visit the Town’s website for further information and updates at www.haltonhills.ca and pre-register for the fair at www.haltonjobs.ca” stated Mayor Bonnette. The Mayor and Town staff have been working very closely with the Toronto Premium Outlets operators to ensure Halton Hills residents have the best possible advantage in securing one of the 800 part-time and full-time jobs. .
