Making growth sustainable: Green entrepreneurship Information Pack 13th – 22th September

Short Description The "Making growth sustainable: co-creating solutions through social and green entrepreneurship" aimed at developing entrepreneurship in sustainable development through an integrated approach between social entrepreneurship and "green" entrepreneurship among young people in the European Union. There will be two mobilities, one on the topic of Social entrepreneurship which will take place at the end on August and the other on the topic of Green entrepreneurship which will take place at the end of September 2016.

Main objectives of this project 

Promoting social entrepreneurship as a method of sustainable development

Promoting green entrepreneurship as a method of sustainable development



Promote the concept of "sustainable development"



Increase interest in entrepreneurship and generate positive attitudes towards entrepreneurial culture



Development of practical skills and providing knowledge to initiate sustainable business and responsible local communities



Exchange of experiences and best practice examples in sustainable and responsible business conducted within a framework of intercultural learning

About venue & partners The mobility will take place in Romania, near the city of Timisoara in the village of Bodo, in 2016. Bodo is a village located in the Timis County, in the district of Banat. The village dates since the 15th century and is a multicultural village, hosting many ethnical minoroties. The travel costs to reach Timisoara for every participant is : Italy - 170 EURO, Bulagria - 80 EURO, Czech Republic – 80 EURO, Croatia – 80 EURO, Estonia – 170 EURO, Macedonia - 80 EURO. Keep in mind that you should bring with you: traditional food and beverage for the Intercultural evening, and also materials from your organization to use for the NGO Fair.

Methods: In terms of sources and methods, this project will use have various methods of non formal education. The focus will be to assimilate the knowledge and attitudes of youth entrepreneurship in sustainable development through creative methods such as group work, role play, simulations, discussions with local entrepreneurs.

Participants profile: There will be selected 6 participants (5 young people and 1 leader) from each organization, their profile is: - age between 18-30 years - relevance for the individual needs of participants - availability to participate in all activities - English speaking skills In order to achieve the objectives, participants will be asked to: reflect on their community, on what are the opportunities that can benefit them, on what it means to be young and to take the initiative; to know the culture and traditions of the participating countries; to share experiences on entrepreneurship and involvement in the communities to which they belong; to share knowledge and different methods, knowledge in sustainable development and entrepreneurship in this area.
