USING LYNDA.COM FROM THE BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY Although MassArt no longer subscribes to Lynda.com, all MassArt students and faculty should be able to get access to Lynda.com via the Boston Public Library (BPL). If you meet any of the following criteria, you are eligible for a BPL ecard which then allows you to use Lynda.com (and lots of other great stuff): • You reside permanently in Massachusetts • You live in-state for part of the year to attend school • You commute to a Massachusetts employer on a sustained and regular basis • You own property in Massachusetts To sign up for a BPL ecard go to: http://www.bpl.org/general/circulation/ecards.htm
Click on “Get oR Renew Your eCard” and follow their simple instructions. You will need to select a 4-digit PIN. Within 10 minutes of completing the form, you will be e-mailed your ecard number. You will use that number and your PIN to login to Lynda.com. Once you have your eCard set up, you can sign in to Lynda.com: https://www.lynda.com/portal/sip?org=bpl.org BOOK MARK THIS PAGE. OR to see all of the electronic resources available to you, on the top navigation of BPL website go to “electronic resources” and then navigate to “A to Z list of resources”.
On the Lynda.com login page use your eCard number and self-selected PIN.
