NON-PROFIT/COMMUNITY VENDOR ACKNOWLEDGMENT Non-Profit Vendor acknowledges it has read and accepts as follows:  Non-Profit Vendor is provided one (1) 8’ x 3’ table and two (2) chairs  Non-Profit/Community Vendors are RESTRICTED from selling ANY products or services at the Non-Profit Vendor table.  If Non-Profit Vendor damages the Seattle Center grounds or areas around Non-Profit Vendor table, Non-Profit Vendor will be held solely responsible for the damages and will be billed for the cost of repair or replacement. Non-Profit Vendor agrees to reimburse the Seattle Center or the Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival for any loss or damage to the City of Seattle, the Seattle Center facility and/or its contents.  The Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival will obtain a Tradeshow License that will cover all Vendors that do not have a City of Seattle business license. The Tradeshow License will cover ONLY the Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival. Vendor’s located outside of the Seattle City limits do not need to obtain a City of Seattle business license.  The Seattle Center must to be immediately informed of accidents and incidents that occur during the Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival.

LIVE ALOHA FESTIVAL NON-PROFIT/COMMUNITY TABLE REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES Requirements       

All Non-Profit Vendor applicants must submit a completed and signed application and include the FULL Vendor Fee. Non-Profit Vendor will furnish its own display. Non-Profit Vendor is responsible for providing its own equipment. All Non-Profit Vendors are required to keep its table neat and free of hazards. Non-Profit Vendor table must have an adult representative present at the table at all times during all operating hours of the Festival. Non-Profit Vendors must refrain from hanging, taping, gluing, stapling, screwing or tacking decorations or other materials onto any Seattle Center property or equipment. Set-up and teardown of provided items (including tables and chairs) is conducted by the Seattle Center crew. All other items for set-up and tear down are the sole responsibility of the Vendor.

Guidelines   

   

Non-Profit Vendor applications are considered on a first come first served basis and priority is given to Non-Profits which support Hawaiian initiatives, education and community services. The acceptance and placement of Non-Profit Vendor on the Seattle Center grounds is at the sole discretion of the Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival Committee and Vendor Coordinator. A limited number of Non-Profit tables are accessible to electrical power. If electrical power is available, one (1) 120 volt/10 amp wall socket will be provided and Non-Profit Vendor is responsible for providing its own grounded extension cord and power strip. No later than July 31, 2015, all Non-Profit Vendor contacts will be emailed if their application for participation is accepted. No later than August 10, 2015, a confirmation email will be sent to the Non-Profit Vendor contact with additional Festival details. If Non-Profit Vendor is not selected, the Vendor fee will be returned to the Non-Profit Vendor at the address listed in their application. If Non-Profit Vendor chooses to cancel its participation in the Seattle Live Aloha Hawaiian Cultural Festival, Vendor must notify the Festival by email to [email protected] NO LATER than August 1, 2015 for a full refund of the Non-Profit Vendor fee. No refund will be given if email notification is not provided or if notification is received after 12:00 midnight on August 1, 2015.
