Today in Miss Johnson’s class we are dying Easter eggs. How fun! And there are so many fantastic colors to choose from. There is blue, green, yellow, pink, orange, and purple. My best friend Sally and I love the color purple and we're sure it'll be a popular color, so we rush to get there first. Our eggs look amazing. "Purpleriffic!" we both shout. While our Easter eggs are drying, Miss Johnson suggests we create a line plot to collect our egg color data. I wasn’t sure what a line plot had to do with eggs, but I was about to find out. As a class we decided that our line plot would represent the colors used to dye our eggs. Michael suggested that we first create a tally chart to help organize our information.
