INTRODUCTION:

Welcome to Tarot.com's Jupiter's Promises report  an ideal source for anyone seeking guidance for your unfolding path of growth. Based on the position of Jupiter in your birth chart and its 12year cycle, this personalized and detailed report can help you tap into your potential for success and power to expand. This oneofakind report was written by psychologist and astrologer Stephanie Clement. To read about her inspiration for writing this report, see The Author Speaks. Every step you take toward enhancing your happiness and good fortune will lead to a more rewarding life. And you've just taken the most important step of all!

Jupiter: Planet of Expansion We all want to expand our lives. Perhaps we want to expand our mental skills by attending college. We may want to extend our earning capacity through career training. We may want to form strong partnerships or enter into a romantic relationship, in order to expand our horizons. (We probably don't want to expand our physical weight!) Each of these possibilities relates to the planet Jupiter, and how it works in our birth charts. Shakespeare pointed out that we have many potential roles that unfold in regular rhythms throughout our lives. This interpretation takes a look at your birth chart from the perspective of the largest planet in our solar system. Jupiter takes about 11.86 years to go around the Sun. This almost 12year period relates to many of the major life transitions you will experience throughout your life. Each milestone in this interpretation takes place at a Jupiter Return  when Jupiter reaches the same point in the zodiac it occupied when you were born. To start, let's explore the meaning of Jupiter in your birth chart. BIRTH CHART:

Jupiter's Promises Report

Jupiter is the Santa Claus of the planets. Where it is found in the birth chart, we find a focus for our hopes and dreams. It indicates an area of life where we are optimistic, expansive, generous and often successful. It also indicates an area of popularity. Sometimes Jupiter shows where we are overconfident or extravagant. It shows where and how we seek to develop a more idealistic or philosophical attitude, and also where we can be impractical, excessive or ostentatious. On a practical level Jupiter governs function  the way things work. This includes processes in the physical body. Jupiter's sign reveals your innate talents, your sense of optimism and faith, and how you express your generosity. It shows how you trust other people and the wider universe and how you grow and improve your life. Jupiter in Gemini: You are footloose and fancyfree. You love long and short distance travel, and are ready to take a couple of days off to enjoy new scenery. When you can't travel, you maintain contacts with people all over the country or the world via email and the Internet, or through letters. Your social skills make you a welcome guest wherever you go because you can fit in without needing to be the center of attention. You have the capacity to be a great storyteller. You have seen so much and you want to share your experiences and insights with family, friends, and acquaintances you make along the way. Underlying your social efforts is a strong desire to have connections  you like having your fingers on the pulse of activities in the work and family environments, social and financial circles, educational activities, and religious venues. CHAPTER 2:

The houses of the birth chart represent different areas of life, and the house where Jupiter is located reveals the areas where you can experience confidence, expansion and success. You have inherent gifts in these realms and tapping into them increases your joy. You can also look to these areas of life for wisdom and understanding. Jupiter in the Eleventh House: You benefit from membership in groups and any activity where people gather together to share ideas. You are popular within groups, partly because you are relaxed and confident, and partly because everyone likes to associate with a person as lucky as yourself. You find that time after time, your friends come to you with beneficial offers, valuable contacts and the wherewithal to take advantage of opportunities. You may find that you enjoy executive positions in religious or charitable groups. Your associates certainly appreciate your talent for this kind of work. Throughout your life, you find that circumstances have a way of turning in your favor. You reap the greatest benefit when you go with the flow, neither forcing situations to go your way nor ignoring obvious possibilities. When you work for something you believe in, you can accomplish wonders. CHAPTER 3:

The astrological planets represent different parts of your psyche, and the aspects show how these parts of yourself relate to each other. Planets in aspect to Jupiter give further insight into your gifts and opportunities for expansion, as well as tendencies toward overextension and excess. http://product.tarot.com/report_saved.php?reading_id=178773258&code=&format=print

Jupiter's Promises Report

Jupiter Square Uranus: You move ahead by leaps and bounds, not the steady forward progress of your peers. As long as you are one leap ahead, you feel satisfied. Unusual situations are good because you have the talent to see into them to find deeper insights. You love your freedom. Jupiter Square Pluto: Your desire to run the world will catch up to you some day and cause untold problems. If you can be realistic for a moment, you realize that you only need to run your corner of the world. You don't need to step on everyone else's toes to meet your own needs and desires. Jupiter Sextile Ascendant: Your personality is harmonious and pleasant, leading to positive interactions with other people. You are willing to meet others half way, and are able to form strong partnerships. You desire to create a beautiful home environment for yourself, regardless of the size of your personal space. Jupiter Quincunx Moon: Proper diet is essential for the maintenance of liver and pancreatic function. More than most people, you need to pay attention to what you put in your mouth. You also need to evaluate what you read and learn, and discriminate wisely to avoid mental indigestion. Jupiter Conjunction Mercury: You have a strong need to develop your intellect. You have plenty of ideas, and you have the common sense to sort out the ones you can pursue to the greatest benefit. You devote your life to learning, and you gain expertise in the subjects you study. You achieve success through study, business or the sciences. Dishonesty or negligence will lead to failure. CHAPTER 4:

About Jupiter Milestones Now that you have the basic idea of how Jupiter functions throughout your life, we will examine seven milestones. Every 12 years Jupiter returns to its position in your birth chart, giving you a moment of clarity concerning your perspective on life, your emotions and your spiritual tendencies. Each milestone illuminates a specific area of your life, growing out of the previous 12year period. Because of Jupiter's apparent retrograde motion from our perspective, you may have three returns within one year. The first contact is extremely important and sets the tone for the next 12 years. The second time shows where you might be reviewing what happened in the past. And the third time, it gives you another way of using the energy. If there are three contacts, Jupiter's energy is likely to be stronger during the next 12 years. This can be a blessing because it amplifies the potential of developing your spiritual, philosophical and intellectual side. You may notice certain themes come up again and again. When you see this happen, it indicates that you will be reviewing ideas and renewing your intellectual and spiritual strengths during the coming period. You benefit from what you learned earlier and modify your behavior to avoid facing the same difficulties. If you fail to modify your behavior, a little excess can become a huge problem.

Your First Return The first Jupiter milestone occurs when most people have achieved nearly adult size and development. Cultures around the world celebrate rites of passage around this time, as young people transition from childhood to teen and young adult life. You actually reach adult physical growth about midway through this period. You are expected to act like an adult in a thousand ways, yet you may feel unprepared for the demands of adult life, especially at the beginning of this period. The 12 years following the first milestone can be difficult, filled with shocks and disillusionment. Your friends have different ways of doing things, and they have some less than helpful ideas about how to act. You still rely upon family to take care of your basic needs. During this 12year period, you face huge changes in social relationships, habits and attitudes. You break with some family beliefs, even if you maintain an outer appearance of acceptance. By the end of this period you know how you want to be different, and where you want to go in life. http://product.tarot.com/report_saved.php?reading_id=178773258&code=&format=print

Jupiter's Promises Report

JUPITER RETURN on May 25, 1977: Jupiter in the Third House: In the Return chart Jupiter is in the house of the immediate neighborhood in which you live. During the next 12 years, you find that communication takes on greater importance. In addition you will discover how your siblings and/or peer relationships require your direct attention, and you will learn how to establish and maintain clear communication channels of all kinds. You will very likely be involved with cuttingedge communication technology. You are able to absorb both the theoretical information about communication styles and the material processes that make it work. You can develop skills in counseling, business, teaching, writing or all of these areas if you apply yourself to the processes involved. During this period you develop lasting friendships. You are popular with your peer group. As you master relationship skills, you gain confidence and are generally optimistic. Overconfidence can lead to situations where you are unceremoniously put in your place. Ostentatious displays of affection or attitudes can leave you on the sidelines. You don't need to be pompous to come off looking good to your friends and siblings. Jupiter Trine Pluto: Leadership potential can develop almost on its own as you pursue the many career choices in your life. Because of your ability to work with people smoothly, you rise to management or executive positions in the natural course of things. Jupiter Sextile Saturn: During this period you will have many opportunities, and the real job is to decide which ones to work on, and which ones to let slide. Although you hate to let go of any promising possibility, you need to focus your energies so you don't become scattered, thereby wasting time on nonessentials. Jupiter Semisextile Mercury: Sometimes you feel compelled to tell the bare truth, and you find that others receive it with less enthusiasm than you had hoped. Initially, the truth has a sting. Later, others realize the value of cutting to the chase and getting on with the solution to their problems. Jupiter Opposition Neptune: While you appear to be happy on the outside, you are actually more dreamy. You discover inner conflicts concerning your ideals about the world, and the realities you face. You feel you are somewhat misunderstood by others during this period of your life. Bigger is not more ideal in every case, so don't be deceived by mere size. Jupiter Quintile Moon: This period promises enhanced creativity, based on strong flow of emotional energy into your work and other activities. Your creative talents emerge now, possibly in greater unison than before, and you are able to produce striking and beneficial results. Jupiter Quincunx Uranus: You intuition leads you into some rather strange situations that require adaptive responses. You learn how to "read" your intuition as you gain experience. Ultimately you make subtle shifts almost before a problem arises. Jupiter Conjunction Sun: You experience relatively good health now. If you have a good diet rich in vitamins and minerals, your emotional outlook is good, you feel physically strong, and you may experience some degree of healing without any particular effort in this regard. Career and other activities take you in positive directions. Jupiter Quintile Ascendant: Your best creative and expansive activities include physical activity. Even if your projects are largely mental or emotional, you benefit from a physical component, such as walking, yoga or sports. CHAPTER 5:

By age 24, you have achieved nearly full intellectual development. This does not mean that you stop learning, but that your capacity for learning is fully in place. As you start out on your adult adventure, the excitement of life is often http://product.tarot.com/report_saved.php?reading_id=178773258&code=&format=print

Jupiter's Promises Report

matched by the anxiety level. You try to "act like an adult" at every turn. Yet your emotions remind you of earlier times when you felt helpless. During the years between Milestones Two and Three, you develop a better understanding of relationships. In the process your relationship to your parents undergoes dramatic changes as well. You learn to accept your emotions as your own. Finally, you fill in the gaps in your education, either through more schooling, or in the "world of hard knocks." By the end of this period, your unique personality is refined. You discover that your inner mental, emotional and spiritual environment is more important in many ways than the material environment. JUPITER RETURN on May 8, 1989: Jupiter in the Eighth House: In the second Jupiter Return chart, Jupiter is in the house of other people's resources. Money matters assume a larger role for you over the next 12 years. This period could result in major transformations in your material success, philosophical outlook and general sense of luck in important relationships. Your sex life takes on increased importance with a high focus on the pleasures of adult life. Jupiter Conjunction Mercury: Your intellect is a focus during this period. You may read more, study subjects more deeply, and entice the subtle details from any book or other resource. You rework what you know, formulating your own unique view of the topic. Such insights lead to unexpected success in career and personal dealings. Jupiter Quincunx Pluto: You seek all or nothing in your search for power. It's important to learn to exercise your will power to avoid being squelched as you move ahead. Make adjustments before you are backed into a corner. Jupiter Quincunx Neptune: Health problems may arise that are difficult to diagnose. An infection may mask the symptoms of another disorder or vice versa. Diets or therapies that cleanse the blood and the liver are beneficial when an infection does not respond to treatment. Jupiter Quincunx Saturn: During this period you have to make more adjustments than you might wish. You could face an imbalance of organ function, or you might experience frustration and anger when you are forced to make dramatic changes in your goals. To go with the flow now requires effort. CHAPTER 6:

At the third milestone you enter a philosophical phase of life, questioning your own purpose. People often associate the unrest during the latter half of this period  the midlife crisis  with unfulfilling relationships, changes in the job scene or anything else outside your own personality. We often think that once past age 30, we no longer continue to grow. Actually, our emotional, mental and spiritual growth occurs largely after that time. While we are busy developing careers, raising children and expanding our social spheres, we continue to change psychologically and spiritually. By age 48 at the next milestone, you probably see the good side of your decisions as well as the downside. By then you have greater understanding of your own inner workings. Jupiter's Promises Report

At your third Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of personal resources. While financial and other opportunities have come and gone, and you've had ups and downs, you now are taking yet another long look at the role of selfesteem. Philosophically, you find you don't need all the goodies to feel like a success. Instead, you need to base success on how events affect your selfesteem. A huge financial success may turn out to be less fulfilling than you expected. Jupiter Trine Neptune: You have profound depths of feeling, although most people will not be aware of this fact because you keep your thoughts to yourself. You are able to refine your own work, and you can also help other people to perfect their projects. Throughout your life you pursue metaphysical subjects. You have a compassionate nature. Jupiter Semisquare Mercury: During this period you experience stress where intellect is concerned. To the extent appropriate for the age group, you can use the internal tension as a barometer of your mediation skills. There is a tendency to spread yourself too thin, and a reluctance to express yourself in writing that could manifest as a writing block. There could be too much or too little attention to intellectual matters. Jupiter Opposition Pluto: You want to be in charge. Period. You dislike working for anyone who can't "walk the walk." In fact, you might even lead a rebellion, if given a good opportunity. Sometimes you come on very, very strong, and push your organizational gifts to the max. This can lead to a waste of valuable energy. If you must argue, do it from the high ground, ethically and spiritually. Jupiter Sextile Ascendant: Your personality is harmonious and pleasant, leading to positive interactions with other people. You are willing to meet others half way, and are able to form strong partnerships. You desire to create a beautiful home environment for yourself, regardless of the size of your personal space. CHAPTER 7:

You may not be the roundbellied figure Shakespeare mentions, but at this milestone you may enter a somewhat less physical and somewhat more mental period of your life. There is no abrupt transition here  you just gradually find your interests shifting. Over the next 12 years, you struggle less with internal conflicts. By the end of this period you integrate your diverse talents, skills and goals, and you empower yourself instead of looking to the world for empowerment. At the end of this period, your Jupiter and Saturn periods come into close alignment. Your sense of wholeness incorporates substance and process into one worldview. You accept your accomplishments and probably see the larger connections between Self and the Universe. JUPITER RETURN on August 8, 2012: Jupiter in the Third House: At your fourth Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of communication. You now enter a phase in which your connections with other people take on profound importance. You learn from your acquaintances on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, and you share, in turn, with the people you meet. Jupiter Semisquare Moon: You like to have lots of irons in the fire, but now you need to monitor your activities and focus on a few that are most important, or that have the greatest possibility of success. Resume a lapsed exercise, yoga or meditation practice, starting small. Jupiter Sextile Uranus: You have many opportunities to achieve extraordinary success. You have to open the door when opportunity knocks, and you probably can't act on every opportunity. Intuition plays a strong role in how you make decisions. Jupiter's Promises Report

Now is a good time to actively pursue a healthier diet, and to engage in regular exercise. You could tend to put on weight otherwise. Mentally, you benefit from meditation or other contemplative activities. Keep your mind busy, and spend less time and money on fancy furnishings and toys. Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Saturn: Career and business matters seem to fluctuate far more now than you might wish. To maintain your inner balance and a semblance of cheerfulness, stake out a few minutes each day for meditation, yoga or a walk outdoors. Try to find an activity that is a sheer waste of time, and then do it for a few minutes each day. Jupiter Square Ascendant: You provide challenges for yourself in the form of puzzles about which direction to pursue and what opportunities to grasp. You are usually very successful in making friends and cultivating the right relationships to improve your work and family life. You tend to put on extra pounds and have to manage your diet accordingly if you want to remain or regain a trim physique. Jupiter Quincunx Pluto: You seek all or nothing in your search for power. It's important to learn to exercise your will power to avoid being squelched as you move ahead. Make adjustments before you are backed into a corner. JUPITER RETURN on December 1, 2012: Jupiter in the Third House: At your fourth Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of communication. You now enter a phase in which your connections with other people take on profound importance. You learn from your acquaintances on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels, and you share, in turn, with the people you meet. Jupiter Opposition Sun: Finances and spending could be an issue. Pay attention to business indicators, and reduce spending to compensate for sagging markets or income. In addition, trim your waistline by reducing your intake of fast and junk foods, and through regular exercise. Jupiter Quincunx Mars: Match your optimism with greater adaptability now. You are used to leading, yet at this time you may become an active team member or dedicated follower instead. Because of a tendency to rebel against leadership, this period presents a lesson in accepting instruction. Jupiter Quincunx Venus: During this period, you may be compelled to cease any overindulgence you have habitually enjoyed in the past. As you focus on your cravings, you find that you really only need a tiny taste to satisfy the demand, and that taking any more is simply habit. Jupiter Semisextile Moon: You will encounter situations that seem thorny at the moment, but which are susceptible to solution when you take a calm, thoughtful approach. Others may marvel at your seemingly placid demeanor in the midst of external turmoil. Jupiter Quincunx Pluto: You seek all or nothing in your search for power. It's important to learn to exercise your will power to avoid being squelched as you move ahead. Make adjustments before you are backed into a corner. Jupiter Biquintile Saturn: Your success in business and career at this time results from your ability to examine the structure of a situation. Only then can you determine the processes that will permit beneficial change. Your inner thoughts include concepts of duty and discipline, as well as diplomacy and honesty. Jupiter Quintile Ascendant: Your best creative and expansive activities include physical activity. Even if your projects are largely mental or emotional, you benefit from a physical component, such as walking, yoga or sports. JUPITER RETURN on March 29, 2013: Jupiter in the Third House: At your fourth Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of communication. You now enter a phase in which your http://product.tarot.com/report_saved.php?reading_id=178773258&code=&format=print

Jupiter Square Mercury: If you are not careful, you could find yourself wasting a considerable amount of time on side projects or tangents that lead you away from the central goals you have set for yourself. You perform well in rushed situations as you are able to organize and execute plans quickly and accurately. Jupiter Sextile Mars: During this period you experience numerous opportunities in career, business and personal matters. The key to success is to consider each opportunity, gather information and make informed decisions before you dedicate yourself to any project. Jupiter Sextile Sun: Now is a good time to actively pursue a healthier diet, and to engage in regular exercise. You could tend to put on weight otherwise. Mentally, you benefit from meditation or other contemplative activities. Keep your mind busy, and spend less time and money on fancy furnishings and toys. Jupiter Sextile Venus: You find many opportunities to establish happiness through love relationships. Your sense of form and beauty is a big factor in career and relationship success. This period is marked by the capacity to form positive lasting relationships. Jupiter Quincunx Saturn: During this period you have to make more adjustments than you might wish. You could face an imbalance of organ function, or you might experience frustration and anger when you are forced to make dramatic changes in your goals. To go with the flow now requires effort. Jupiter Sextile Uranus: You have many opportunities to achieve extraordinary success. You have to open the door when opportunity knocks, and you probably can't act on every opportunity. Intuition plays a strong role in how you make decisions. Jupiter Biquintile Moon: Your inner mental and spiritual life is rich with creative possibilities now. You find that ideas you relegated to storage in the past are arising again to provide fertile ground for action. Women play a big part in your expression now. CHAPTER 8:

Because the typical life span has increased since Shakespeare's time, there is no quotation for this milestone. It's not easy to determine which part of life is longer, but this seemed like the logical milestone to skip assigning one of the "seven stages of man" because people are retiring later and living longer. Age 60 used to indicate a long life, but today many people live well into their seventies, eighties and even nineties, remaining active members of society. If you have maintained good health, you can foresee many years ahead of you, and you are not about ready to stop here. You may find you need to reexamine your life and make a new plan. This is a time for mulling over the past, not because you are stuck in it, but because you want to distill the values you have found and let go of old ideas that no longer suit you. Our children often say that we are better parents to our grandchildren. This is because we can let go of old rules and methods, change our attitudes and joyfully engage life in a fresh, relaxed way. This can be a period of spiritual inspiration. It's also a time to recall goals from an earlier time, choose the goals you still want to accomplish, and focus on them as fully as possible. While we often think of the period before age 60 as the productive time of life, many people are accomplishing their greatest work after that time. Jupiter's Promises Report

Jupiter in the Fourth House: At your fifth Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of family. This milestone marks a transition from a primary focus on productivity toward a mentoring perspective. During the next 12 years you may find that you return to your roots. From this perspective you see some things in the past that you might have done differently. Still, you have refined your beliefs and have great confidence in your sense of self, of justice and of family. You are open to feelings and informational input. Jupiter Trine Ascendant: Your personality brims over with kindness and love for others. You extend yourself to them, helping them to feel stronger and more capable. Your expansive personality can be matched by a tendency toward being overweight, so you need to also develop the will to do what is good for you, not just what seems like fun. Jupiter Quintile Neptune: Your psychic ability is expansive. You can reach far outside yourself to experience what is happening around you. You sometimes "feel" other people's feelings, as though they are your own, and you can use this information for healing, communication or other purposes. Jupiter Semisquare Sun: You tend to stress out when you don't get the recognition you feel you deserve. When you feel this way, first determine what you want, and then change your own behavior to make that outcome more likely. If you determine that people or things outside yourself are the true source of the problem, then take steps to remove yourself from situations that you cannot tolerate. JUPITER RETURN on January 27, 2025: Jupiter in the Fifth House: At your fifth Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of creativity. This milestone marks a transition from a primary focus on productivity toward a mentoring perspective. You may find surprising interest in working with younger people. The main source of information for you to impart comes from your previous creative efforts. You learned a lot about what works, and more importantly, when it works. You have getitdone experience that can really help your students and associates. Jupiter Quincunx Moon: You benefit from attention to diet and nutrition now. Reduce intake of fats and simple carbohydrates to lose weight or to keep from gaining during this period. Also examine your regular consumption of news, gossip and reading material, and reduce or alter consumption as needed. Jupiter Trine Sun: Your health improves with just the barest attention to nutrition and exercise. You feel better, so neither should be a problem. Your spiritual life may be a bigger part of your daily experience, with some study or contemplative activity. Jupiter Quintile Neptune: Your psychic ability is expansive. You can reach far outside yourself to experience what is happening around you. You sometimes "feel" other people's feelings, as though they are your own, and you can use this information for healing, communication or other purposes. Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Mercury: During this period you experience intellectual agitation. Perhaps new areas of work or study present objective problems, but more likely the stress comes from inner thought processes that are not meshing well. Meditation can be useful in sorting out valuable ideas and creating better flow in any writing projects. There could be too much or too little attention to intellectual matters. Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Midheaven: You have the ability to rise quickly in your profession. You generally associate with successful people, and you may feel, in your heart, that you are not quite as good as they are. Be prepared to change jobs to get the recognition you deserve. JUPITER RETURN on February 12, 2025: Jupiter in the Seventh House: At your fifth Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of partnership. This milestone marks a transition from a primary focus on productivity toward a mentoring perspective. The next period offers you the chance to expand and deepen your partnerships. Travel is one option. Spiritual studies may help you and your partner find even more in common than you have previously discovered. As you adjust your work schedule and responsibilities, you find time for meaningful http://product.tarot.com/report_saved.php?reading_id=178773258&code=&format=print

conversation and activities at home or on the road. Jupiter Quintile Neptune: Your psychic ability is expansive. You can reach far outside yourself to experience what is happening around you. You sometimes "feel" other people's feelings, as though they are your own, and you can use this information for healing, communication or other purposes. CHAPTER 9:

This milestone ushers in a 12year period during which the mysteries of your own mind can be examined. In the process you discover a higher power that resides in and acts through you. This period is ideal for mentoring younger people because you are both receptive to the student's needs and expressive of your own wisdom. You feel less attached to outcomes, and more focused on clear, effective processes. Unique opportunities come into your life during this period. You are able to undertake activities that didn't even make your list before. You may experience a life filled with miracles large and small. JUPITER RETURN on June 27, 2036: Jupiter in the Eighth House: At your sixth Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of birth and death. You may experience the death of siblings and peers in your age group at this time. As you feel more alone, you also have the opportunity to transform your social life by associating with younger people. Jupiter Semisquare Neptune: Speculation is not a good idea for you, as you may experience large losses. You are easily misled by the glamour of a business offer. You can learn to recognize the "too good to be true" qualities in any dealings. Jupiter Semisextile Sun: You may experience some painful realizations concerning past activities that did not turn out as you had hoped, or about relationships that failed. As you recognize these truths, you develop valuable skills to aid you in all future activities. Jupiter Semisextile Uranus: In the long run events nearly always turn out favorably for you. Sometimes you are just thankful that you get through situations at all. The stresses of life can cause episodes of indigestion. Pay attention to your intuition. You may get an idea for an invention. CHAPTER 10:

With modern medicine and longer life spans, many of us never get into this condition, or if we do, it is very close to the end of life. What we do experience is an inevitable slowing down of the physical machinery. Healthy nutrition keeps many people alert and active right up to the end of life, even in the nineties and beyond. This is not the time to quit, but it may be time to take a different approach to life. Be yourself! Engage in social activities, consider your relationship to the Universe, and celebrate your connection to others and to the Divine. During the coming 12year period, you attain a sense of dominion over your personal motivations. Jupiter's Promises Report

At your seventh Jupiter Return, Jupiter is in the house of service. You will probably be on the receiving end of a number of services at this stage of your life. You find fortunate connections with doctors, dentists and other care givers. You enjoy the contact with them, and they enjoy you too. You spend time organizing your possessions, or helping someone else to get more organized. There may be teaching or mentoring work for you to do now. Jupiter Opposition Mars: You are more aware of your personal energy level now. Your optimism is strong, and you are therefore positive about decisions you make. You find that disagreements resolve themselves and you then can go on to more productive matters. Jupiter Conjunction Moon: Social occasions play a larger role, with good food and good company the norm. You develop a keener sense of your personal philosophy concerning career, business, spiritual values and religion. Wisdom governs all your dealings. Jupiter Square Pluto: Your desire to run the world will catch up to you some day and cause untold problems. If you can be realistic for a moment, you realize that you only need to run your corner of the world. You don't need to step on everyone else's toes to meet your own needs and desires. Jupiter Quincunx Saturn: During this period you have to make more adjustments than you might wish. You could face an imbalance of organ function, or you might experience frustration and anger when you are forced to make dramatic changes in your goals. To go with the flow now requires effort. Jupiter Square Uranus: You move ahead by leaps and bounds, not the steady forward progress of your peers. As long as you are one leap ahead, you feel satisfied. Unusual situations are good because you have the talent to see into them to find deeper insights. Jupiter Sesquiquadrate Midheaven: You have the ability to rise quickly in your profession. You generally associate with successful people, and you may feel, in your heart, that you are not quite as good as they are. Be prepared to change jobs to get the recognition you deserve. CHAPTER 11:

As you read through the different milestones, you have probably observed specific themes. Where you find similar concepts, you can identify periods during which you are building on previous experience. Where fresh ideas arise, you find opportunities to take a different turn in your life. Throughout your life, you develop wisdom and love. At each stage you have the possibility of expanding your life in every way  physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. By looking ahead at each milestone, you can set goals that are consistent with the promise of that period in your life, as seen through Astrology. Now that you have gained greater insight into your innate potential and your life's milestones, here are some suggestions for putting this information into practice: Write out your mission statement for the year, clarifying what you would like to accomplish with your newfound knowledge. If you're not sure where to start, you could write a summary of the highlights from this report, in your own words. Jupiter's Promises Report

Read more about author Stephanie Clement and her motivation in creating this report. Learn about how Jupiter's returns inspired her to create an interactive guide to your major expansion milestones! CHAPTER 12:

My inspiration for the report was Jupiter's cycle of returns every 12 years. That cycle happens to correspond exactly to a quotation from Shakespeare about the ages of man. His are a little different because he was dealing with a shorter lifespan, but he described how people are different at different stages of life. The Jupiter returns relate to certain highpoints or milestones of development. That's how it unfolded  I identified these Jupiter Returns with adult developmental processes, which makes sense since Jupiter deals with process. What really got me into it is the Jupiter return at age 36, which is a philosophical and spiritual milestone. You've grown up, gotten your education, your family, your job  now what? Spiritual awakening happens for a lot of people right around this age. This is when people come into their intuitive and psychic power, which makes this transition really important. Between ages 36 and 48 you can develop an understanding of your connection to the spiritual side of life, whether or not that involves religion. By age 48, people generally have a good idea of who they are as spiritual beings. For me personally, the Jupiter return at age 36 was a big transition point. At that time I was living in the mountains in a really nice house and on the surface I'm sure a lot of people would have said everything was fine. At the same time, though, I was trying to work out issues that had been there since childhood. I spent a lot more time going to church and trying to get in touch with my religious roots. I knew that if I could empower my spiritual path the other problems would be resolved. It was a difficult transition, but I learned a great deal. I went back to school to get a Masters degree in psychology. I got in touch with animism  the idea that the whole world is alive. I became more flexible in identifying with the world and appreciating other people's views. By the time I was 48 we had developed our family business, I had completed my PhD and I had a counseling practice in Boulder. I was in a really different place from where I had been 12 years before that. I hope that when people read this report, whatever age they are, they can look back at earlier periods and identify what was important to them at that time. Since this report is based on the Jupiter Return charts, those are unique to each person. Then they can look at the upcoming ones and see what they can look forward to. Life does not end at 60 or 72  even at age 84, that's not the end, people don't just stop growing. Shakespeare said you end up with nothing and I don't believe that exactly. I think adult developmental process continues until very close to the end of life. My grandmother learned a tough lesson when she was 91  she could have learned the lesson earlier, but at 91 she got it. You're not done until you're done. I believe that Astrology helps people because it provides some guidelines for their lives. I don't believe Astrology compels people to do anything. In esoteric Astrology, Jupiter is associated with wisdom in a larger sense than just having knowledge  the wisdom to know what to do but to know how to do it so that other people benefit. If people can get into this rhythm of Jupiter and understand it's about the process  that actions and situations have a flow to them and are not so much about things, then I think people are happier. If people can focus on process a little bit more, they can see life as unfolding rather than feeling stuck.

Jupiter's Promises Report

Planets The Sun: Your Ego Structure The Sun is the center of the solar system. All life revolves around it. In the same way, the ego is the center of personal identity and gives integration and continuity to individual experience. In this sense, it might be said that the Sun in astrology reveals a person's character and is the prime indicator of what the individual is trying to achieve. This is the fixed pillar at the center of the person around which all else circulates or revolves. The sign placement of the Sun indicates how your natural drive and ambition are going to be directed. The sign of the Sun is the most primary indicator of the forms of experience you are attracted to. Further, this most important placement shows how and why you are attracted to these experiences. The house placement of the Sun sign shows the primary area of expression for the individual in life. There is a psychological, emotional, and physical significance to the house placement of the Sun. Aspects to the Sun show ways that the core of the personality is linked to other component elements in the individual's life. Aspects to the Sun have a deep and overriding significance in the life of the individual and are generally more important and more prominent than other aspects in the chart. The Moon: Your Personal Life The Moon inscribes a circle around the earth. It moves more swiftly than other astronomical bodies and thus represents daytoday and momenttomoment movements, adjustments and preoccupations. The Moon in astrology represents the inner, emotional life, and the unconscious, which is molded and shaped by our environment, by events, and by social and familial expectations. Further, the Moon indicates how we respond to life as a result of our past habits and experiences, our heritage, and our individual and collective instincts. The sign placement of the Moon tells a lot about your private inner life, how the instinctive and imaginative component of your mind operates, how you express your feelings and your most general experiences of your family and mother. The house placement of the Moon shows how and where you make daytoday adjustments and indicates which realm of experience will play a dominant role in your emotional life. Further, it shows the things you are most drawn to in order to gain emotional equilibrium. The aspects of the Moon show general characteristics of the personality that are emphasized. Planets in aspect to the Moon are symbolic of qualities in the personality that are used instinctively, habitually and with a high degree of versatility. While the Sun reveals your intended purposes and lessons for this present life cycle, the Moon represents what you have already done and developed, hence, what is instinctive and natural to you, and what you tend to do over and over again. Your childhood is also reflected in the Moon's placement, as it is through those childhood circumstances that any unresolved pastlife issues are restimulated. Your subconscious predisposition is indicated by the Moon's position. It is the psychic imprint of the past. The nodes of the Moon in an astrology chart describe behavior patterns from the past and indicate the direction you are evolving toward as you move forward in your life. Mercury: Your Mental Life Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. From the viewpoint of the earth it seems to dart back and forth across the face of the Sun. Mercury is the planet of your mental life. It shows how you receive, process and disseminate information. It also relates to short trips, siblings and other aspects of your immediate environment. The sign placement of Mercury shows your basic attitude and mental habits. The aspects of Mercury show your scope of vision and your methods for accomplishing tasks. Venus: Your Love Nature The planet Venus shows the way you express your love nature and what you aspire for in life as good or beautiful. It also influences your approach to partnerships and indicates what adjustments will be made in order to encourage a loving relationship. Venus loves harmony and is drawn to social activities of all kinds, as will as the arts (music, dance, literature and drama, among others). The sign placement of Venus describes your style of sharing your love with others. The house placement of Venus shows the natural area of expression for your love energy. The aspects of Venus indicate how and under what circumstances you express the gentle and loving side of your nature. Mars: Your Energy Mars is the planet of desire and will. It shows how you aim at your goals and how you power yourself toward your goals. Mars represents your most fundamental passions. The sign placement of Mars shows the fundamental nature of your assertions. The house placement of Mars shows the area of your life where you tend to be most active. The aspects to Mars show how and to what extent your desires and assertions are involved with other aspects of living. Jupiter: Your Values Jupiter is the king of the planets. He is in charge of the order of creation. Jupiter shows your values, where you feel confident and in control, and where you feel you have something to teach others. Jupiter also rules religion, philosophy, longdistance travel and higher education. The sign placement of Jupiter describes your values in life. The house placement of Jupiter shows the area of life where you feel luckiest and the area where you receive the most help from other people and from the cosmos. The aspect patterns to Jupiter show the direct network of good and administrative power in your life. http://product.tarot.com/report_saved.php?reading_id=178773258&code=&format=print

Jupiter's Promises Report

Saturn: Your Obligations The planet Saturn shows where you feel restricted. You feel obligations and fears through Saturn, the taskmaster of the zodiac. Saturn rewards discipline, hard work and perseverance. The sign placement of Saturn shows the basic type of energy connected with your obligations. The house placement of Saturn shows an area of life that you feel restricted in and where you have to work hard to obtain the things that come to you. The aspects of Saturn show the most direct involvement of other areas of your life with your feelings of responsibility. Uranus: Your Search For Freedom The planet Uranus is beyond the orbit of Saturn and can't be seen without the aid of a telescope. It represents the sky in us, that which transcends the limits of finite life. Uranus represents originality and unconventionality. It can stimulate sudden or erratic change, like that expressed in revolution, or the invention of new ways of doing things. The sign placement of Uranus shows your broadest striving for freedom. The house placement of Uranus indicates your area of direct unique expression. The aspects to Uranus indicate the way you express your need for higher consciousness. Neptune: Your Spiritual Aspirations and Ideals The planet Neptune has an almost perfectly circular orbit. It represents the part of our nature that strives for perfection, that looks to some higher ideal. The planet Neptune rules the ocean and the part of us that is beyond the limits of the shores of personal existence, namely the unconscious. It also rules our dreams. The culture moves with the cycles of Neptune and it is the primary indicator of your connection to the culture that you live in. The sign of Neptune shows an ideal that you desire to manifest. The house placement of Neptune shows the area of your life that you want to express this ideal in. The aspect patterns of Neptune indicate the most direct connections yet most subtle networking of your personality into the world at large. Pluto: Your Need For Fundamental Change The planet Pluto represents the dark underground part of you. It shows your ability to transform the most fundamental properties in your own inner nature. The sign of Pluto is the way the obsessive, compulsive and committed part of your nature expresses itself. The house placement of Pluto shows the area of life where you make your most fundamental and most potent changes. The aspects to Pluto show the deepest most unconscious links in your personality structure. Ascendant: The ascendant is based on the time, day and place of birth, and is both the sign and degree of the first house. The ascendant represents your "external self" and your outside appearance to the world, as well as the world's general perception of you as a person. It is also widely believed to rule your physical characteristics. Midheaven: English for Medium Coeli, the Midheaven is a point on the natal chart located on the cusp of the 10th house. To astrologers, the Midheaven governs career, public reputation and interactions with authority. Elements The four elements (Fire, Earth, Air and Water) describe the inherent temperament and orientation of each sign of the zodiac. As the ancient Greeks taught, everything in the universe including the human personality can be examined in terms of these elements. Fire is your basic enthusiastic urge, Earth represents practical, material world concerns, Air is the element of abstract thought, Water represents feelings and the empathetic impulse. Fire and earth are primary and focused on the self. Air and water are derivative and focused on others. Fire and air are naturally extroverted, optimistic, active and freedomoriented. Earth and water are basically introverted, pessimistic, passive and security oriented. The Fire signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. The Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. The Air signs are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. And the Water signs are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Houses And Their General Meanings Your birth chart is divided into twelve "houses," which govern specific areas of your life. At the time of your birth, each planet was located in a particular astrological sign and in one of the twelve houses. Listed below are the most general meanings for each house: First House: Your selfidentity. How you appear to the world and the first impression you make on others. Your external presentation, including physical characteristics (body type, facial features, etc). Second House: Your personal resources. Money matters, possessions and your relationship with both. Third House: Your immediate environment. Short trips, neighbors, communication with others, learning. Your relationships with siblings. Fourth House: Your home and family. Your childhood and ancestral roots. Your mother and maternal influences in general. Fifth House: Your creative inspiration and selfexpression. Selfinvestment, risktaking, love affairs, children and luck. Sixth House: Your daily life. Health concerns, work and service. Personal sacrifice. Seventh House: Your identity in relationship to others. Dating, marriage, partnerships of all kinds. Contracts. Eighth House: Sex and your relationship to the resources of others. Death and inheritance. Transformational release, and our ability to "rebound." Rituals of all types. http://product.tarot.com/report_saved.php?reading_id=178773258&code=&format=print

Jupiter's Promises Report

Ninth House: Longdistance travel, higher education, philosophy and mental expansion of all types. Law and publishing. Tenth House: Your relationship to authority and power. Reputation, social status and career. Government institutions. Your father and authority figures in general. Eleventh House: Your friends and your connection to humanity in general. Group associations. Hopes and aspirations, ideals. Honors received. Twelfth House: Your spiritual life and your connection to the cosmos. Dreams and the unconscious. Things that are hidden. Music. Your karmic quest. Transits Transits compare the position and angle of the planets in the sky on a given date to a planet or position in your birth chart. Some transits indicate harmony, while others indicate challenges. Astrologers are able to assess what conditions will be present and for how long by evaluating the impact of transits on your "natal" or birth chart.  On some days you might get a mixed forecast. For example, Mercury in the sky on a certain day might be Square your birth Mars, warning you that you could get into arguments or get a ticket for speeding. At the same time Mercury might be trine your birthchart Jupiter placement, indicating that it's a great time for communication and short trips. This might seem contradictory at first glance, but when you think about it, in a single day, we often deal with conflicting energies.  If you put the two together, they'd read, "This is a great day for short trips as long as you watch your speed; you have a lot to say, but be willing to listen to someone else's point of view." Remember, astrology is a tool that always works best when coordinated with your own common sense and intuition. It's only meant to help you make more educated decisions. Types of Transits Sextile (60 degree angle) and Trines (120 degrees) indicate where energies flow harmoniously. Take advantage of these transits to lighten your load, make your move, get that date, etc.  Squares (90 degrees) are the most challenging of all aspects. Conquering a square can be difficult and requires discipline, but the prize is worth the effort. Oppositions (180 degrees) challenge you in your relationships with other people. Sometimes you feel a positive, stimulating exchange of energy. Other times we deal with conflicts, confrontations, schisms or separations. Someone else could be mirroring something about yourself you need to deal with but have had difficulty seeing. Conjunctions (0 degrees) can go either way and depend much upon the nature of the two planets coming together. For example, Venus and Jupiter make a fun, if potentially lazy, combination while Mars and Pluto can be pretty heavy since they both relate to anger and ego.
