2017   Year­End   Expectations   for   LRMS   Students   

With   the   end   of   the   school‐year   approaching,   planning   for   the   end‐of‐year   events   is   well  underway.   More   informa on   about   these   ac vi es   will   be   sent   home   in   May.       We   believe   it   is   important   to   communicate   early   to   both   parents   and   students   regarding   the  expecta ons   for   par cipa on   in   the   end‐of‐year   ac vi es.   These   expecta ons   include:    Behavior   Expectations  ● Less   than   two   behavior   referrals   during   Trimester   3  ● Less   than   seven   periods   of   in­school   suspension   during   Trimester   3  ● Zero   periods   of   out­of­school   suspension   during   Trimester   3   ● Maintain   positive   attendance   throughout   Trimester   3    Book   Return   Expectations  ● Return   all   library   books   by   June   2nd    th  ● Return   all   textbooks   by   June   9  ● Pay   all   fees   by   June   14 th      Students   will   be   placed   on   proba on   if   they   fail   to   meet   any    of   the   behavior   expecta ons .  Students   on   proba on   will   be   required   to   a end   a  goal‐se ng   mee ng   with   their   respec ve  grade‐level   team   and   set   a  behavior   plan.   Students   on   proba on   will   be   able   to   a end   the  ac vity   if   they   meet   their   goals   and   complete   a  behavior   reflec on.  T  he   reflec on   will   be   an  essay   discussing   what   the   student   did   to   meet   their   goals.  If   the   proba on   is   not   met  successfully,   or   library   books,   textbooks,   and   fees   are   not   returned   on    me,   the   student   will   be  excluded   from   the   ac vity.      Our   staff   has   reviewed   these   expecta ons   with   your   student   in   class   .  We   ask   that   you   also  review   these   expecta ons   at   home.   It   is   our   hope   and   expecta on   that   every   student   remains  eligible   to   par cipate   in   these   ac vi es.
