Larry The Octopus In the Atlantic Ocean there was a giant octopus named was Larry. One Day when he was going for his swim, he got caught in a fishing net. Normally when this happened he could easily break free, but this one was stronger than normal. Thrashing around, he was pulled up onto the deck of the boat. The fishermen went home bringing their fish to a strange building with sea life in glass cubes. Larry startled by seeing this, froze, then while frozen, the fishermen quickly put him in a cube full of water. Seeing what they were going to do to him, he became enraged struggling against them. Then they shocked him with a taser and he went unconscious. The next morning he watched the strange people coming over to his cube with a bucket of fish. Larry, seeing him open up his cube, rushed to the top and escaped. Before he could get away two men walked in front of him carrying the taser. Not wanting to be shocked he slid to the door, but there were guards there also. He got shocked from behind. The next morning he watched two men in front of his tank talking, pointing at him, and then handing over some green paper. Larry did not know what it was. That night Larry was loaded into a very big truck. Then he was driven to a big house which couldn’t be called a house, it has to be called a mansion. After he arrived at the house in his glass cube, he was loaded into a big room and placed, cage and all, into the center of the room. When the humans left Larry tried to get out and then he noticed something that could help him. There was a little piece of metal at the bottom of the tank. Larry had an idea. He held the piece of metal then slammed it into the wall as hard as he could until the cage of glass shattered. Feeling victorious he rushed out into the room. Seeing that there was nothing interesting in it, he went to the next room. Just as he got into the room, which was a living room, he died of lack of oxygen. When the owners of the house came back they screamed in fear, then in anger, because Larry cost five million dollars. Sad that they had lost the money, they sold his body to a museum as the largest octopi in the world. From that investment they lost four million dollars. Even with Larry trying so hard to escape captivity, he could not. His start at the aquarium, trip to the house, and eventual ride to the museum makes you wonder if he realized he had eight legs so he could move quicker, before he realised breathing air would be a problem.
