Spot ligh t : Th e Class of 2018 God's Blessings to our Graduates! Numbers-wise, the class of 2018 has always been our smallest group, but what they lack in numbers they make up in personality! God has blessed each of the graduates with unique gifts. We can't wait to see how they each use them in high school and beyond. Most of all, we rejoice that each of them moves on with a solid foundation of faith they received from God's Word in the home, school, and church. May they continue to shine the light of Jesus wherever they go!

Oper at ion Boo Boo Bu n n y On May 16th the St. Paul's students in grades K-8 will be making Boo Boo Bunnies that will be put in backpacks which will be given to military children who will be attending week long YMCA camps. This summer 200 children will attend campsites in Texas, Nebraska and Missouri. The camps are sponsored by the Seven Stars Foundation, Inc. which is an all-volunteer tax-exempt 501(c)3 corporation. The foundation was established on February 7, 2007 when the USMC Casevac helicopter flying with 7 crew members was shot down in Karmah, Iraq, killing all seven. This foundation provides summer camps for kids who have lost a parent to war, were injured, or are currently deployed. The camps are a place for healing and honoring their loved one. It is also a safe place to talk about their struggles of military life. Mrs. Kindvall is coordinating our efforts to make bunnies that will not only bring physical healing, but also emotional healing. The project will also serve as a loving reminder that another student in SD is praying for them.

As the year comes to a close, we are preparing one last time to raise our voices as an entire school in giving thanks to our God. Our last day of school is May 24th. We will close our school year with a service that evening at 7:00 in which the K-8 grade will sing, "Go, My Children, With My Blessing." Have the children come to Miss Fischer 's room at 6:45 to warm up. During this special service, our eighth graders will receive their diplomas, and after the service the kindergarten will receive their diplomas. Also, after the service all of the children will receive report cards. Please plan to join us for this closing service.
