Khan  Academy  Summer  Math  Work   Incoming  8th  Grade  Students  

  Topics  have  been  recommended  for  you  to  complete  on  Khan  Academy  this  summer.    It  is  a   small  portion  of  what  you’ve  learned  that  is  very  important  to  moving  forward  with  8th  grade   math  and  Algebra  1.      (If  you  don’t  do  well  with  all  of  it,  it  is  ok.    At  least  we’ve  then  identified   what  needs  to  be  improved.)     For  EACH  topic,  you  need  to  complete  5  problems  in  a  row  correctly.     For  10  points  extra  credit,  complete  all  the  topics.      For  an  additional  10  points,  go  through  and   complete  all  topics  again.      Ideally  you  would  complete  the  first  round  in  the  next  few  weeks,   take  a  break,  and  then  complete  the  second  round  in  the  few  weeks  before  school  starts  again.       The  topics  can  be  found  under  ‘coach  recommendations’.    Go  to  ‘profile’,  then  ‘progress’,  and   then  ‘coach  recommendations’  to  see  the  list  of  topics.    You  can  click  on  the  topic  name  to  start   working.             Contact  me  at  [email protected]  if  you  have  any  questions.     Enjoy  your  summer!
