Kimberley Farmers’ Market Vendor Application Process 2017 Thank you for your interest in being a vendor at the Kimberley Farmers’ Market! Please follow these steps to apply and feel free to contact the Market Manager with any questions: 1. View the 2017 selection guidelines 2. Complete the 2017 online vendor application form here 3. Email all supporting photos and documentation to
[email protected] 4. The market advisory committee will review your application based on the Kimberley Farmers’ Market vendor selection guidelines. You will be notified of their decision on or before May 30, 2017 for all applications received prior to May 25, 2017. 5. Once your application has been accepted, please complete payment online (here) or by mail or in person to: Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook at 1650 Warren Ave. Kimberley, BC V1A 1R6 Early bird payments are required by June 6, 2017 If the office is closed please deposit in the mail-slot Be sure to clearly mark envelope with ‘Kimberley Farmers’ Market’. Cheques to be payable to Wildsight Kimberley/Cranbrook. You are not confirmed until your application has been accepted, payment received (in full for early bird rate, and for the first market for the regular rate) and all supporting documentation received. a) Please note that the earlier you submit your application, the better your chances of a decision being made prior to market dates. We would ask that all full season vendors, and those intending to vend at our earliest markets in June/July have their application forms submitted by Thursday, May 25, 2017 b) Vendors with application forms submitted by May 25, 2017 and payment received prior to June 6, 2017 qualify for an “Early Bird” discount. The Early Bird rates are as follows; - $200.00 for a full season vendor. (2 free markets) No refunds will be issued for missed markets. - $100.00 for 6 markets (1 free market) No refunds will be given for missed markets, but dates may be changed depending upon availability. - The full rate schedule is available here 6. The Market Manager will notify you in writing (via email) or contact you by telephone to advise if your application is approved in a timely fashion. If your application is not approved, you may submit a written appeal to the KFM Advisory Committee. Your appeal will need to explain how you feel your product meets the KFM Vendor Selection Guidelines. 7. The KFM Advisory Committee reserves the right to stand by initial decision or amend its decision as it sees fit. 8. Vendor applicants of the KFM may be subject to quality inspection and the KFM Advisory Committee may request to sample/taste/view your product(s) prior to final approval. In an effort to maintain the quality of the market throughout the season, the KFM Advisory Committee may reevaluate a vendor and its products, using the Vendor Selection Guidelines.
