Junior Programmer Job description Kernel Analytics is looking to recruit a recently graduated or experienced programmer to work mainly in web development within the Django / Python framework. The programmer will participate in various technical projects, especially as a back-end and front-end programmer, but will also carry out duties in systems and database administration. The desired candidate will have a "full-stack" profile: passionate about technology, with initiative, proactive, good team worker, eager to keep learning and innovating every day; someone who understands the importance of writing clear, descriptive, reusable code. Kernel Analytics offers the possibility to work in an innovative, young, and dynamic environment (both in regard to the people in the company as well as to programming languages, tools, and computer systems in use for the projects).

Skills & Requirements The ideal candidate should have:      

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering Experience in web development (back-end and front-end), preferably in the Django / Python framework Programming skills, ideally in Python Fluency in JavaScript / JQuery Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AJAX and Twitter Bootstrap Knowledge of SQL and relational database management

Other highly valued skills/experience:      

Previous developments: websites, applications, projects … Web development in Java NoSQL databases and distributed programming Distributed processing tools, such as Hadoop Linux system administration Version control tools and cloud computing services
