Creating a Safe Inviting Church Environment For the past two years, the Trustees have been working on a Security plan for our church. School and church shootings have reminded us that no place is completely safe. However, we want to create a Church space that is as safe as possible without losing the welcoming, inviting space that so many people love. The Trustees have already taken many steps and will announce some more actions for the future. In the meantime, any church member is invited to the Church Security Seminar that is open to the public this Tuesday, June 26 at 6:30PM at the Statesboro High School Auditorium.
