Coupled Atomistic/Discrete-Dislocation (CADD) multiscale modeling of H embrittlement in metallic systems – proposed a novel predictive mechanism on ductile-to-brittle transition.

Intercalation/deintercalation process in battery anodes – proposed a general analytical framework to describe the non-conventional diffusion process at large stress and high solute concentration, explicitly verified through simulations. Dislocation-crack tip interactions at atomistic scale – clarified the nonlinear interplay between dislocation shielding and crack tip decohesion. Solute drag, dynamic strain aging and strengthening mechanisms in metallic systems.
