[email protected] [Phone] 18 September 2011 Dick Ivens Director of 3D Lab Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design 273 E. Erie St. Milwaukee, WI 53202 Dear Mr. Dick Ivens, I am inquiring about the 3D Lab position posted on the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) Canvass Careers website. I am a senior Industrial Design student at MIAD trained in materials and tooling. I would be thrilled to join the team in such a well organized and proper workshop. When dealing with heavy machinery I feel it is extremely necessary to keep the area better than when you found it, for fear of accidental mishaps. I have worked in multiple workshops with cautious people and I strongly believe in using tools properly. Working with you will not only grant me the joy of working with the smell of freshly planed wood, but would also further my knowledge of 3D standards. I’ve attached my resume for review. Please take the time to consider my experience and my work ethic. I’ve attached my resume for review, and please take the time to consider my work ethic. Thank you, Jeannette Ralyea
